Media ‘Calling’ Elections in a Democracy Is Postmodern Fascism.

More or less unnoticed for decades, the media habit of “calling” elections—presidential or otherwise—is not only a betrayal of the democratic process, it has become a leading factor in a new form of post-modern fascism in which we are apparently living.

Saturday morning at 11:45AM, while President Trump was off playing golf, CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, the AP and USA Today, virtually in unison as if operating on some sort of pre-arranged cue, all made the call for Joe Biden with Fox News joining them all of ten minutes later.

It was like Pravda and Izvestia working together for what they assured the Soviet public was their own good.

Moments after that, horns were honking with joy and people dancing in the streets from Los Angeles to New York.

After all, the witch was dead. Which old witch? The orange witch! Ding-dong the wicked witch was dead!

Biden was our 46th president because the media declared it so.

Of course, this was nonsense. The election is still on-going, still undecided, and will be for several weeks of legal challenges, many of them justified.

What occurred at 11:45 was basically a media psy-op (psychological operation), designed to depress and silence the roughly seventy-one million who voted for Trump and rally the seventy-some million, if they indeed exist, who voted for Biden.

The truth is, in a democracy and/or a democratic republic …

No media organization has the right to “call” an election. Period.

It’s a Big Lie squared.

The privilege of determining the results of an election belongs to the voters alone and is governed by the rules of the constitutional system under which we live.

What the AP or Fox say has nothing to do with it!

Media calling elections is akin to their outrageous polls we have witnessed for months that also operated as psy-ops designed to depress the vote and financial contributions to the Republican candidate.

That the supposedly more conservative Fox News participates was illustrated not only by their extremely inaccurate polling in 2016 and 2020 but by their “calling” Arizona, which now looks virtually a toss up, for Biden very early election evening while declining to call Florida for Trump, which was close to a romp for the president.

That the people who did Fox’s slanted polling were some of the same people making the state calls in their “decision room” is only another example of the incestuous corruption that is a hallmark of this post-modern fascism.

But as powerful as they are, the networks are only the bit players in our new world, the subalterns who do the bidding of their real masters in big tech who are calling the ultimate shots.

This is playing out dramatically in the post-election period where social media and, yet more importantly, search engine censorship have risen to unseen levels.

It’s not just about blocking hashtags. Many of the more serious accusations are not allowed to surface in any way and are immediately dismissed and labeled “debunked,” a sure sign our digital masters are worried about their validity. (If not, why bother?)

One of the more significant, and indeed horrifying, in its implications, is the accusation CIA software programs (Hammer and Scorecard—the link has been blocked by Facebook) have been used to ensure the election of Joe Biden.

On the surface, this sounds crazy and I have no idea of the validity, but I know it merits exploration. Strange computer glitches have been reported in Michigan and elsewhere. One has resulted in many votes having been switched back to Trump and a Republican candidate, who had been presumed to have lost, winning. Big dumps of votes, almost uniformly for Biden, magically appear in the middle of the night.

Further, the huge discrepancy between those who voted for Biden alone and those, as is normally the case, who voted for Biden and down ballot candidates of the same party is unprecedented. Accident or design? After having lived through years of lying surrounding the Russia probe nothing, alas, would surprise me. Should I be worried?

Oh, no, say CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, the AP, USA Today, The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and Fox News (except for Tucker, Sean, Laura, Lou, Jesse, Greg, Judge Jeanine, and a few others—why are they still there?)…. All’s right in the world. Joe Biden is our president. Nothing to see here.

As Donald Trump’s Cuban supporters in Miami-Dade would say, “Vamos a ver.” (Let’s see.)

Or to turn El Ché upside down, “Hasta la victoria siempre!” (Always on to victory!)

Lastly, when I speak of post-modern fascism, to be clear I mean something closer to Xi Jinping’s version of “Socialism with Chinese characteristics.”

Despite having his picture on a million walls, it’s nothing Karl Marx would recognize. The working class is nothing but cannon fodder for the iPhone whatever.

It’s more a form of digital fascism where prosperity and a halfway decent life belongs only to those who play along and press the required buttons. Freedom, pace Kris Kristofferson, is not “just another word for nothing left to lose.” It just doesn’t exist.

That is where the Biden-Harris administration would lead us.

To channel my sixties self: “Hell, no! I won’t go!”
