Jill Biden’s Cosplaying As President Just Got Much Weirder

The saga of Jill Biden cosplaying as president of the United States just got a lot weirder, and this time the press is involved.

On Friday, questions arose after she was spotted sitting at the head of the table and leading a cabinet meeting at the White House. That it was the first in over a year only made the situation more perplexing. Joe Biden doesn’t meet with his cabinet for that long and when he finally does, his unelected wife takes the lead? Then, later on the same day, it was revealed that her name was being embossed on honorary legislation folders as if she were equal to the president.

She wasn’t done, though. In what appears to be a very coordinated campaign at this point, MSNBC put out a slobbering segment in which Jill Biden gives “journalist” Peter Alexander an Oval Office tour. The two are also seen discussing the “transfer of power” as if her opinion on such matters is relevant.

To call all of this odd is an understatement. Jill Biden taking a leading role in multiple aspects of the administration all on the same day is too obvious to count as a coincidence. There’s a message being sent here. What exactly that is is up for consideration, but I suspect Joe Biden’s relinquishing of the presidential nomination to Kamala Harris has something to do with it.

The ride is almost over for his wife. Those Air Force One rides and taxpayer-funded vacations end in January. Perhaps she just wants to make a few memories, inappropriate and head-scratching as they may be. Of course, the other possibility is far worse. Namely, that Joe Biden is so completely unable to fulfill the duties of his office that Jill Biden is having to step in “unofficially” in a much more public fashion.

I’m not sure what’s worse, that Americans are having to deal with all this amid an array of serious issues facing the country or that members of the press are absolutely giddy about it. Check out this picture of Alexander in the Oval Office.

Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race while insisting he’s completely mentally fit to serve and that he’s the most “consequential” president in modern history, and hacks like Alexander are taking pictures at the Resolute Desk smiling like a five-year-old. Interviewing Jill Biden would have been a great opportunity to drill down on her husband’s escalating senility and how he can remain in office despite being unable to run for reelection. Instead, like a good little lackey, Alexander tossed some softballs and got his novelty photograph as if he went to an amusement park.

It’s pathetic. This is not what journalism is supposed to be. This is also not what a First Lady is supposed to be doing. Are there no serious reporters left in the mainstream press who will bother to ask what in the heck is going on?

You don’t say…..

FBI received tip about Ryan Routh in 2019 but probe was closed, authorities say

The FBI received a tip about the suspect behind the apparent assassination attempt of former US president Donald Trump five years ago but the investigation was later closed, authorities have revealed.

Ryan Routh, 58, was arrested on Sunday after authorities said he stalked Trump as he golfed in West Palm Beach, Florida, with an AK-47-style rifle.

Prosecutors said that Routh would be charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
In a press conference on Monday, the FBI said it received a tip in 2019 about Routh being in possession of a firearm despite a prior felony conviction.

FBI Special Agent in Charge in Miami Jeff Veltri said the probe was closed after the tipster would not confirm making the report.

“In following up on the tip, the alleged complainant was interviewed and did not verify providing the initial information,” he said.

The FBI said it notified local police in Honolulu about the tip, but the investigation was closed.

Routh could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted on one of the charges.

A bond hearing has been scheduled for next week.

Authorities said Secret Service agents fired at Routh who then dropped the rifle and fled in a car, leaving the firearm behind along with two backpacks, a scope used for aiming and a camera.

He was taken into custody on Sunday after being stopped on a Florida highway.

The incident came two months after another attempt on Trump’s life at a rally in Pennsylvania.

During the press conference on Monday, the Secret Service said that Routh “did not have a line of sight” on Trump and never fired his weapon.

The FBI’s analysis of cell phone data showed Routh was around the golf course for about 12 hours before the Secret Service encountered him.

Routh, who owns a small Hawaii construction company, had previously criticized Trump on social media.

He also regularly posted about the war in Ukraine and had a website where he raised money and recruited volunteers to go to Kyiv.

Campaign finance records also revealed that Routh made 19 small political donations since 2019 to ActBlue, a political action committee that supports Democratic candidates.

Tim Walz promises that Harris will continue to radicalize and politicize the military by making sure there are more and more transgender military members and that your tax dollars pay for their surgeries.

The number of transgender soldiers in the military has doubled since Joe Biden and Kamala Harris started their term.

This administration has spent $26 million of your dollars paying for s*x change surgeries and procedures such as gender-affirming voice training and facial reconstruction.

Well, another Known Wolf…..

FBI Alerted to Suspected Apalachee High School Shooter over a Year Ago

The FBI was made aware of the suspected Apalachee High School shooter in 2023 during the course of investigating the source of online threats.

FOX 10 Phoenix reported that “The FBI, in a joint statement with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, revealed Gray was on law enforcement’s radar more than a year before Wednesday’s school shooting.”

And the Atlanta Journal-Constitution noted, “In May 2023, the FBI’s National Threat Operations Center received several anonymous tips about online threats to commit a school shooting.”

Gray’s father was interviewed as well, and “the father stated he had hunting guns in the house, but the subject did not have unsupervised access to them.”

Gray was monitored after being interviewed, but “there was no probable cause for arrest or to take any additional law enforcement action on the local, state or federal levels,” according to the FBI.

On September 4, 2024, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation confirmed that 14-year-old Colt Gray was under arrest, charged in the murder of two students and two teachers at Apalachee High School.

Walz Says He Lied About Going To War Because He Struggles With Grammar

Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minn., has made a political career out of “misspeaking.” Why stop now?

The No. 2 on the Democratic Party’s forced dream team campaign ticket, featuring the joyous empty vessel Vice President Kamala Harris, was back to doing what he seems to do best Thursday night. After several weeks of evading actual questions, Harris and her running mate sat down with CNN’s Dana Bash for the first semi-substantive interview of their honeymoon campaign — more than a month after President Joe Biden’s political wake.

Bash was anything but browbeating in an edited, open-notebook test that was anything but adversarial. This is CNN after all, the network where journalistic ethics go to die. But when Bash wasn’t watching Harris peeking at her notes to answer basic policy questions, the host of CNN’s “Inside Politics” was attempting to show she could still ask a tough question or two.

“I want to ask you a question about how you described your service in the National Guard. You said that you carried weapons in war but you had never deployed actually in a war zone. A campaign official said you misspoke. Did you?” Bash posed.

First of all, Walz didn’t misspeak about his military bravado. He lied. And, as The Federalist has reported, he has done so in the name of politics.

‘I’m Incredibly Proud’

In 2018, Walz, while talking about gun violence, said, “We can make sure those weapons of war, that I carried in war, is the only place where those weapons are at.”

Problem is, Walz never served in a combat zone. His unit was called up early in the war in Iraq — to Italy. Later, in 2005, he abandoned his National Guard unit as it was preparing to deploy to Iraq. Walz, who opted to run for Congress at the time, retired not long before the deployment. He claimed to be a “retired Command Sergeant Major,” a top rank for an enlisted soldier. Except he wasn’t.

Walz looked like he was tired of answering the question. He shook his ruddy head as if he hadn’t used the lie for political currency and delivered what some have described as a “bizarre” reason for why he “misspoke.”

“Well, first of all, I’m incredibly proud. I’ve done 24 years of wearing the uniform of my country. I’m equally proud of my service in a public school classroom, whether it’s in Congress or the governor,” the VP candidate blathered. Spoiler Alert: Walz has no intention of answering this question.

He goes on to say that his “record speaks for itself.” It sure does. It’s a record of lies and of extreme left-wing policies in a proud Midwest state shredded by such policies. A record of tyrannical rule during his draconian Covid lockdowns and of Minnesota’s largest cities being set on fire during the 2020 race riots. But no one in the accomplice media wants to ask Walz about any of that.

He told Bash that he speaks “candidly.” Clearly he does not know what the word “candid” means. He “wears his emotions” on his sleeve. So, that’s where the lying comes from? He’s passionate about children being shot in schools. Understandable. Still, no reason for the lies.

“I think people know me, they know who I am. They know where my heart is and, again, my record has been out there for more than 40 years to speak for itself,” Walz said.

So … about the gun in a combat zone thing?

Bad Grammar, Awful Person

To her credit, Bash didn’t demure on this one. She pressed.

“And the idea that you said you were in war, did you misspeak as the campaign has said?” the CNN anchor asked again.

Frustrated and caught in his obfuscation, Walz blustered, “Yeah, I said we were talking in this case, this was after a school shooting, the ideas of carrying these weapons of war.”

And this is where the bizarre comes in.

“And my wife, the English teacher, told me my grammar is not always correct,” he said.

Grammar?! It’s not like Walz mixed up the usage of lay and lie. He LIED.

Because he’s an awful liar and an awful human being, he blamed his political enemies — like some of the National Guard soldiers who served with him — for his shortcomings in “grammar.”

“But, again, if it’s not this it’s an attack on my children for showing love for me or it’s an attack on my dog,” the governor deflected. “I’m not gong to do that. And the one thing I’ll never do is demean another [service] member’s service in any way. I never have and I never will.”

He demeaned the service of members of the military for years by claiming he was something he wasn’t, in places he had not been. It’s called stolen valor, and it’s a really lousy thing to do.

Just ask Kathy Miller, the mother of forever 19-year-old Sgt. Kyle Miller, who was killed in 2006 by roadside bomb in Iraq. He was member of the Guard unit Walz left behind.

“My son wasn’t even 21 years old. He couldn’t even buy alcohol. Yet he took the step to serve our country while Walz found the best way to run away,” Kathy Miller told the Daily Mail earlier this month.  “It was the coward’s way out.”

Kamala campaign flip-flops on EV mandates.

The former senator cosponsored legislation banning gas-powered cars by 2040

A campaign official for Kamala Harris said Tuesday that it is a “lie” that the vice president Kamala Harris supports implementing an electric vehicle mandate, even though she cosponsored legislation doing exactly that in 2019.

Harris’s director of rapid response, Ammar Moussa, wrote in a campaign email ahead of Trump running mate J.D. Vance’s remarks on the economy in Michigan that the Ohio senator would “undoubtedly lie, gaslight, and try to run away from the truth.” One such lie, he cautioned, is that “Vice President Harris wants to force every American to own an electric vehicle.”

“Vice President Harris does not support an electric vehicle mandate,” Moussa claimed, before citing several news stories that argued the Biden administration only incentivized, rather than mandated, electric vehicle production by car manufacturers. The administration spent billions to build just a handful of electric vehicle chargers and introduced tax credits for electric vehicle purchases. In addition, however, the Biden administration pushed through a new tailpipe emissions rule through the Environmental Protection Agency that would force car manufacturers to significantly scale back production of gas-powered cars. “The regulation would essentially require automakers to sell more electric vehicles and hybrids by gradually tightening limits on tailpipe pollution,” the New York Times reported in March.

Even more damningly, Harris also supported an electric vehicle mandate when she serves as the junior senator from California. In April 2019, months after announcing her bid to become the 2020 Democratic presidential nominee, Harris cosponsored the Zero-Emission Vehicles Act of 2019. The bill, which was introduced by Senator Jeff Merkley and Representative Mike Levin, presented “bold plan for transitioning the United States to 100% zero-emission vehicles.”

The original version of the Zero-Emission Vehicles Act of 2019 would require 50 percent of new passenger vehicle sales to be automobiles that use zero emissions — electric or hydrogen-powered cars and trucks. The bill would require all new car sales be zero emission vehicles by 2040, according to text of the bill and a press release from Senator Merkley’s office.

The legislation gave authority to the EPA administrator to issue an “injunction on the manufacture of any passenger vehicles other than zero-emission vehicles by a vehicle manufacturer” by 2040.

Harris supported an even more aggressive version of the legislation that would ban non-zero-emission vehicles by 2035, according to an archived page of her 2020 campaign website obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

Harris’s campaign has also claimed that she no longer supports a fracking ban and other key policies of her 2020 Democratic primary campaign. Harris herself has not walked back any of these positions or explained why and how she changed her mind so radically in just one election cycle.

The Houthis have defeated the US Navy

Operation Prosperity Guardian (OPG) was set up in December 2023 in response to the Houthi attacks on commercial shipping passing through the southern Red Sea. The aim was to provide a unified international front that would both deter the Houthis from further attacks and reassure the shipping companies who due to reasons of risk and associated insurance costs were already starting to take the long route round the Cape of Good Hope.

The problem was, it didn’t work. The Houthis were not deterred and continued taking pot shots at anyone and everything from ships with the most tenuous links to Israel, to Iranian grain carriers to Russian dark fleet oilers. For relatively little effort and money, they achieved their desired end states of ‘improved local influence’ and ‘challenging international shipping’ almost immediately. Their line that they would stop if there was a ceasefire in Gaza convinced only a few.

This led to Operation Poseidon Archer starting in January 2024, with US and UK counterstrikes on Houthi targets. But as Saudi Arabia proved between 2015 and 2023 (and repeatedly told us) trying to disable the Houthis by kinetic strikes is like punching smoke, and so it proved.

None of these efforts were helped when the EU formed a splinter coalition called Aspides so as not to associate with the US posture in Israel. The West’s inability to agree on how to perform a relatively basic task did not go unnoticed by potential adversaries. It was certainly noticed by the shipping companies we were trying to reassure.

Since January, not only have the attacks steadily increased in number, they have diversified too. Drones and cruise missiles were accompanied by hijackings and ballistic missiles. April saw the first use of a surface drone and there has been a steady increase in this method since.

Recently the Houthis have started following up their attacks with small arms fire from fast boats and the last few weeks have seen the amount of attacks increase above what was an average of 2.5 a week.

Even Russia doesn’t want to risk it at the moment. Earlier this month, Russian tankers Arpus and Arlan, which could have gone through the Suez Canal, instead transferred their oil into the Gold Pearl – too big for the Canal – and she duly went round the Cape.
