Biden Is Right. This Is the Greatest Test of Our Democracy Since the Civil War

On July 13, while at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, President Biden declared, “We’re facing the most significant test of our democracy since the Civil War. That’s not hyperbole. Since the Civil War.”

Without a doubt, President Biden is correct. America is facing unparalleled threats to our freedom and democracy. However, those threats are due to leftist policies, not election integrity laws.

Over the past few years, radical leftist policies that were deemed un-American not that long ago have entered the mainstream political discourse. Even worse, several of these policies are being put into action.

Consider.

Critical race theory, the antithesis of Martin Luther King’s dream for a colorblind society, has invaded the nation’s public schools, with strong backing from many Democratic politicians as well as influential organizations, such as the big teacher unions.

The federal government, with overwhelming backing from the Democratic Party, is on a mission to federalize the nation’s elections via the ill-named For the People Act (HR1). This is a direct attack upon America’s Constitution and system of state and local-run elections.

Many leftist politicians and powerful organizations have set their sights on gun control. They could not care less about the Second Amendment. At the same time, many of these same people support the ludicrous “defund the police” movement. They are also implementing policies such as “bail reform” that makes it nearly impossible to keep violent, dangerous criminals where they belong: off the streets and behind bars.

And, while these out-of-touch politicians intentionally make it less safe for us to walk the streets at night, they are constantly on their high horse all but forcing Americans to take an experimental vaccine that is under emergency use authorization. Just this week, the Biden administration announced it would begin a door-to-door campaign to verify Americans’ vaccine status.

This comes as the federal government has also ratcheted up its domestic surveillance program against any and all Americans who send text messages that criticize, let alone question, the veracity of the vaccine.

In fact, the left’s entire response to the pandemic has been a lesson in government overreach. From school shutdowns to mandatory business closures, many on the left have used the pandemic as an opportunity to wield more power over things they have absolutely no business in.

As if these threats to personal liberty were not enough, how about the dire economic threat posed by the left’s embrace of modern monetary theory? The Biden administration is proposing a $6 trillion budget blowout that would increase the size and scope of the federal government to levels never seen in U.S. history. Inflation is rising. Unemployment is rampant. And more Americans than ever before are now receiving some type of government benefit.

The left has also abandoned any pretenses of blind justice. Their embrace of activist judges, who seek to rewrite, as opposed to upholding, the Constitution is an affront to liberty. They are even pushing for packing the Supreme Court, something not tried since President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s notorious (and failed) court-packing scheme nearly a century ago.

Many on the left, politicians and activists, have even gone so far as to call the American flag a racist symbol. Many of these same people also demand reparations, a blatantly unconstitutional and un-American idea.

By no means is this list a full stock of the anti-democratic and anti-American policies many on the left are pushing these days. It is simply meant to highlight some of their most outrageous policy ploys.

The common denominator among these policies is simple: they are all offshoots of Marxism.

Yes, the modern left is becoming more and more Marxist before our very eyes. Their policies, rhetoric, and actions come from a Marxist vein.

The greatest threat to our democracy is not a bill that requires voters present a form of ID. It comes from the fact that one of our two major political parties, and their allies in the media, have embraced Marxism.

Well, as if anyone needed any more confirmation that demoncraps were nothing more than commie scum.

‘The Cuban People Will Be Free’: Congressman Introduces Resolution To Support Cuban Protests, Only Republicans Sign On

Rep. Mario Díaz-Balart (R-FL) introduced a resolution to support the Cuban people in their demands for freedom against “the brutal oppression of the Communist dictatorship in Cuba.”

Díaz-Balart — a Cuban-American — asked the international community to stand behind the recent protests against the island’s regime. Initial cosponsors for the House resolution include Steve Scalise (R-LA), Elise Stefanik (R-NY), Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL), Carlos Gimenez (R-FL), Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY), Greg Steube (R-FL), Dan Crenshaw (R-TX), Byron Donalds (R-FL), Matt Gaetz (R-FL), and Liz Cheney (R-WY).

According to Díaz-Balart’s statement:

For 62 years, the Cuban people have struggled for freedom and human rights under a brutal, repressive dictatorship. On this day, which also coincides with the anniversary of the Tugboat Massacre, we also remember the regime’s decades of malevolence, including the Brothers to the Rescue Shoot-Down, the firing squads, torture, arbitrary arrests, killings, human trafficking, those who fled in makeshift rafts through shark-infested waters, and the many activists who have suffered or perished for simply daring to speak against the regime. The Cuban people will be free, and they will remember those who stood with them.

Socialists Communists in Congress Silent as Cubans Rise Up Against Communist Dictatorship

Protests erupted yesterday in all of Cuba’s major cities against the nation’s ruling Communist dictatorship following over six decades of oppression. Protesters chanted “freedom,” “enough” and “unite,” and demanded the dissolution of their nation’s communist dictatorship.

Protesters had specific complaints about the nation’s food shortages, high prices, and handling of the coronavirus outbreak, which were correctly attributed to their government.

The Biden administration was initially silent on the protests, and only commented that they’d vow to condemn any violence in Cuba. Biden himself waited until this morning to say that the U.S. stands with the Cuban people.

Meanwhile the socialists in our Congress – Bernie Sanders in the Senate and all members of “The Squad” in the House – have remained completely silent. The Squad includes Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, Jamaal Bowman, and Cori Bush.

According to Fox News:

Critics will likely say that these Democratic socialists are remaining quiet in the early stages of the protests because there are so many unknowns. Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, who heads the Communist Party, has already called on the country’s revolutionaries to counter the demonstrators. “We are prepared to do anything,” he said during a national address. “We will be battling in the streets.”

The National Review reported that these legislators have never even denounced Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. Sanders, I-Vt., once defended some of the policies of Cuba’s previous communist dictator Fidel Castro.

Following his win during Nevada’s caucus in the 2020 Democratic primaries, Sanders was asked by Anderson Cooper during an interview on CBS’ “60 Minutes” why the Cuban people didn’t rise up and help the U.S. overthrow the Castro regime. Sanders replied that the dictator “educated their kids, gave their kids health care, totally transformed the society.”

If or when our socialists in Congress do address the protests in Cuba, it’s more likely they’ll end up siding with the regime.

Applying Sun Tzu’s axioms, knowing what your enemy is up to is half the battle.

Does Expanding Gun Access Threaten US Stability?

Commentators have pointed to the recent uptick in gun violence to push for looser gun laws and greater access to weapons for self-defense.

But the authors of an essay collection published by the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law argue that expanding access to guns will undermine safety, stability and democracy in the U.S.

Titled “Protests, Insurrection and the Second Amendment,” the 13 essays “probe the complicated relationship between guns and race, policing, domestic violence, and republican government,” writes Brennan Center fellow Eric Ruben.

The Crime Report spoke with the authors of three essays: Stanford University Law Professor John J. Donohue, Duke University Law Professor Darrell A. H. Miller and Cornell University Law Professor Sherry F. Colb.

The truly scary China Virus variant

Just when it appears that life in the United States is returning to pre-pandemic condition (I hesitate to say “normal,” because, in my opinion, very little in this country is “normal” anymore), the CDC issues yet another warning about a China Virus variant.  As of Tuesday, the CDC lists four “notable” variants on its website, code named Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta.  The CDC acknowledges that viruses “constantly change through mutation, and new variants of a virus are expected to occur.”  But don’t get too comfortable with that fact, the CDC warns.  “Sometimes new variants emerge and disappear.  Other times, new variants persist.”

Even though infection and death rates continue to decline, the bureaucrats at the CDC are very, very concerned.  “These variants seem to spread more easily and quickly than other variants, which may [emphasis added] lead to more cases of COVID-19.  An increase in the number of cases will put more strain on healthcare resources, lead to more hospitalizations, and potentially more deaths.”

Scared yet?  Well, don’t be.  It’s the same old shtick from the same cast of dullards who have been using fear, ignorance, and intimidation to perpetuate their meaningless careers and destroy their political enemies for the past eighteen months or so.  What you should really be afraid of is a variant of the most destructive China Virus of all…one that has been spreading in this country — virtually out of control — since well before the first confirmed case of COVID-19 was reported early last year.

The virus in question has definite connections to China, but it didn’t originate in a virology lab or a “wet market” in Wuhan.  It’s actually been here for decades but has remained relatively dormant until the past few years.  Concerned citizens who carefully watched the virus spread tried to warn the general public but were scoffed at and labeled conspiracy wackos and right-wing lunatics.  More recently, as the infection rate rose, those who tried to battle the virus were viciously mocked and called racists; white supremacists; Oreo cookies; and a host of other vile, hateful names.

The symptoms vary but are becoming increasingly recognizable: uncontrollable cackling at questions that aren’t funny; sleeping with Chinese spies; incoherently babbling to a national TV audience; identifying boys as girls and girls as boys; silently watching as criminals destroy our cities, while ordering the police to stand down; and, in the name of anti-racism, teaching people to hate an entire race based on the color of their skin.  There are countless more examples, but you get the general idea.

This horrible disease is most evident in career politicians (usually, but not always, Democrats), bureaucrats, newscasters, and Silicon Valley tycoons.  Sadly, the virus has now infected the military, as evidenced by the recent “woke” ramblings of an ignorant tool who sits as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.  But the biggest threat to the general public comes from academics, who use the education system to infect youngsters from kindergarten through college.  Students learn to hate their country and respect socialism, the slightly weaker variant of the real virus that threatens our Republic.

The China Virus to which I’m referring is Communism.

Other than the ballot box — which hasn’t worked too well lately — there’s no vaccine to cure this disease.  Herd immunity will eventually prevail, as it always does, but it will be a long road back after the system collapses.  Let’s hope enough people wake up before that crash actually happens.

Dangerous, Threatening Rhetoric is the Tactic of Tyrants

Only tyrants threaten the use of force against their own people. On Wednesday, President Biden remarked,  “If you wanted or if you think you need to have weapons to take on the government, you need F-15s and maybe some nuclear weapons.”

This is reminiscent of California’s infamous Chinese-spy-bedding Congressman, Eric Swalwell’s threats via Twitter back in 2018, when he said about a hypothetical war against gun owners, “And it would be a short war my friend. The government has nukes….”

Both references to nuclear weapons is designed to do one thing: to intimidate America’s  armed populace.

 

Drilling down, the core question is why do these politicians distrust the people with the arms the Constitution guarantees their right to keep and bear? What are they doing, or planning, that makes civilian disarmament a priority? If civilian gun ownership isn’t a threat, why are lawful gun owners constantly conflated with criminals, scapegoated for crimes they didn’t commit, and their rights under incessant, incremental attack?

The reason is the power of an armed civilian populace is not to be underestimated, and they know it.

All men have the potential to be tyrants. As Aristotle warned . . .

The three aims of the tyrant are, one, the humiliation of his subjects; he knows that a mean-spirited man will not conspire against anybody; two, the creation of mistrust among them; for a tyrant is not to be overthrown until men begin to have confidence in one another — and this is the reason why tyrants are at war with the good; they are under the idea that their power is endangered by them, not only because they will not be ruled despotically, but also because they are too loyal to one another and to other men, and do not inform against one another or against other men — three, the tyrant desires that all his subjects shall be incapable of action, for no one attempts what is impossible and they will not attempt to overthrow a tyranny if they are powerless.

Wednesday’s speech was a prime example of attempts to humiliate, foment mistrust, and lay the foundation for plans to render popular action ineffective, just as Aristotle described. Biden’s ham-handed remarks about the government’s arsenal of F15s and nuclear weapons were intended to mock and humiliate anyone who believes she is free citizen, not a subject. Anyone who believes her life if worth defending against those who wish her harm. Anyone who subscribes to the historic values enshrined in our Constitution.

The second tactic was intimidation, the use of divisive language, stoking fear and mistrust amongst our fellow citizens by scapegoating gun owners. He all but blamed us for higher crime rates rather than looking at other, more politically inconvenient factors such as defunding, demonizing, and demoralizing police forces throughout the nation.

Biden tried to stoke fear of modern sporting rifles, of which there are about 20 million in common use in the United States. Attempting to ban them over arbitrary, mostly cosmetic features defies all logic. If it wasn’t so clearly tyrannical, it would almost be humorous.

Finally, Aristotle recognized that tyrants desire to render their subjects incapable of acting. In Biden’s case, through civilian disarmament. How would one actually accomplish this? Enter Biden’s ATF Director nominee and current gun control lobbyist, David Chipman. The man refused to identify what constitutes and “assault weapon” because he knows it will be far more convenient to let that definition be whatever the tyrants want or need it to be.

In the end, Biden’s speech was embarrassing and his empty threats pathetic. America’s gun owners will not be intimidated. If gun-grabbing politicians didn’t fear the people, they wouldn’t spend so much time, energy, resources, and linguistic wrangling attacking Second Amendment rights.

We rest easy knowing our constitutional foundations, and the pre-existing rights codified therein, have brought us to this. Not to disappoint the President, but we know that the Supreme Court has already ruled that we have an individual right to possess arms in common use. That’s a feature, not a bug as this very moment was thoughtfully crafted and designed by the Framers. Our duty and responsibility is to uphold the Constitution.

 

Critical Race Theory Seeks to Undermine Equality and the Constitutional Order.

In its own words, critical race theory seeks to overthrow America’s system of government. Leaked mandatory training documents from Iowa’s Mississippi Bend Area Education Agency (MBAEA) make this clear.

The document clearly separates CRT from “traditional civil rights,” saying it “questions the very foundations of the liberal order, including equality theory, legal reasoning, Enlightenment rationalism, and principles of constitutional law.”

This helps explain the sudden shift in rhetoric away from equality and toward “equity.” This massive moving of the goalposts is based on CRT’s principles.

According to documents leaked to Benny Johnson of Turning Point USA and Newsmax TV, the MBAEA is forcing hundreds of teachers into this training at taxpayer expense. Not only is it designed to fracture and undermine our entire basis of law, it’s openly racist and it’s politically vindictive.

Among the terms the MBAEA’s training insists are “white supremacist” are “colorblindness,” celebrating Columbus Day, believing that “we’re just one human family,” and, of course, “Make America Great Again.”

Again, this is mandatory training in Iowa, in government schools. MBAEA’s equity officer is Kim Hoffman.

Read through Johnson’s entire Twitter thread. The documents provide clear proof that CRT is intentionally destructive.

Iowa’s legislature did ban critical race theory in its schools in its 2021 session. But if teachers are already indoctrinated? If they’ve been forced to subscribe to cultish beliefs as the price of keeping their jobs?

Of course you’ve heard the name “George Soros,” often invoked as a sort of folk demon on the American and international right, it’s likely that you have some vague notion of why you think he’s a bad guy, or maybe you think the whole thing is a bunch of hype.

However, if you’re a freedom lover, there’s nothing “hype” about the influence that George Soros has around the world attacking your freedom. Indeed, you probably vastly underestimate the influence that he has on politics.

From the perspective of someone who values life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, there is no more dangerous man today than George Soros. This is not hyperbole, it is the simple truth. While we don’t plan to paint a picture of a man standing behind the scenes, rubbing his hands together and cackling as he plays puppet master over each and every attack on freedom around the world, Soros acts as a strawman and a caricature of what is actually going on in the world.

Twilight of the Elites
It will be arduous, but we should remain undaunted: A new dawn of freedom is rising.

It is hard to describe the clueless hubris exhibited by the smug, self-satisfied G7 “club” while they played grab-ass for photo-ops in the Cornish sands of Carbis Bay, even as the world they ravaged is roiled with deprivation, dislocation, and angst; and a tsunami of populist contempt rises and races toward them.

The Babylon Bee most succinctly identified the G7’s political dimension—“People Who Ruined World’s Economies Gather To Discuss How To Fix World’s Economies.” Yet, recognizing this meeting’s historic import, Ricochet editor-in-chief and “Undisputed King of Stuff” Jon Gabriel tried valiantly to more fully capture this twilight of the elite in his piece, “Repeating Dead Rituals from a Former Age”:

In 1910, nine European sovereigns posed for a final ‘family photo’ before the Great War. They gathered for the funeral of King Edward VII, appropriately enough. Within ten years, the majority had lost power via abdication, assassination, revolution, or death . . . Pantomimes like this week’s G7 Summit reveal an enervated order that doesn’t wield power so much as it clings to it.

These nine European sovereigns in 1910 were the heads of state in elitist, stratified societies. Ultimately, their cupidity helped spark the unprecedented butchery of World War I. Consequently, their regimes were deposed; and the ideological foundation of their authority was held by their peoples to be an illegitimate basis for ruling.

After its execrable, barbaric experiments in fascism and Communism and a second world war, Europe ultimately followed the example of the American Revolution: the true sovereign power of a nation was acknowledged to stem from its people with their consent. Those monarchs who remained were relegated to figureheads, tourist attractions, and tabloid fodder.

Yet is the consent of the governed the legitimacy upon which these G7 leaders rest? And, if so, will it be swept away with them as the Undisputed King of Stuff cautions:

The danger ahead is that, as [Martin] Gurri writes, ‘You can condemn politicians only for so long before you must reject the legitimacy of the system that produced them.’ Everyone senses a change coming and pray it’s nothing like what swept away the world of 1910.

Feinstein Introduces Federal Extreme Risk Protective Order Bill

The matter of Fourth Amendment protections for firearm owners has yet to fully have its day in court. The promising outcome from Caniglia v. Strom on May 17, 2021 does point to gun owners having protection from firearm seizure when a warrant is absent. The Caniglia case was reported nearly a month ago by Cam Edwards, and in his correct estimation, it can have effects going forward concerning due process for those trapped up in such situations, and how the high court views them:

It’s encouraging to see the Supreme Court unanimously agree that Edward Caniglia’s Fourth Amendment rights were violated when his firearms were seized without a warrant, but I suspect that a challenge to a state’s red flag laws would result in a much more divided opinion.

While this case didn’t directly involve a Second Amendment challenge, it’s also good to see that even the progressive wing of the Court concluded that the seizure of Caniglia’s legally-owned firearms infringed on his constitutional rights. It may not indicate a sea change from the liberal justices, but at least in this case they declined to treat the Second (and Fourth) Amendment as a second-class right.

While I agree with Edwards’s suspicion that “red flag” laws might yield a more divided opinion, this case will in my opinion have an impact on litigation against all of the unconstitutional seizure policies. In a concurring opinion, Justice Alito conceded the Caniglia case does not address “red flag” laws directly, but I’m sure the case will be cited in case documents filed in lower courts.

Is Critical Race Theory at a School Near You?

The Legal Insurrection Foundation released an interactive map that allows individuals to track Critical Race Theory training in education.

The resource serves to provide students and parents with more information about the curriculum that is being taught in 200 colleges in all 50 states.

As Campus Reform has reported, Critical Race Theory training has been used by colleges and universities as a form of “diversity” training for students and faculty. Former President Donald Trump signed an executive order in 2020 banning these types of training. President Joe Biden reversed this order shortly after being sworn in.

William Jacobson, Professor at Cornell Law School and Founder of Legal Insurrection, spoke with Campus Reform about the project.“

This database is neutral, it simply provides the facts and links to programs and policies. Some people might like a school that has a lot of Critical Race Training mandates and initiatives, others may not like that. We provide the data and information so people can decide on their own,” Jacobson said.

The map does not focus specifically on the term “Critical Race Theory,” Jacobson explained that they “try to focus on programs that go beyond mere diversity initiatives, and cross over into so-called “anti-racism” and “equity” doctrines as well as other aspects of Critical Race Theory, though the lines are not always clear.”

New York, Massachusetts, Illinois, and California are among the states with the most schools on the map, with 24, 18, 14, and 20 institutions listed, respectively.

Yale’s Anti-White Racist Psychiatrist

It’s hard to come up with a better example of the woke totalitarian capture of elite institutions than this Yale School of Medicine lecture by a hardcore anti-white racist psychiatrist, the audio of which is posted on Bari Weiss’s Substack. Weiss highlights these lines from the lecture:

This is the cost of talking to white people at all. The cost of your own life, as they suck you dry. There are no good apples out there. White people make my blood boil. (Time stamp: 6:45)

I had fantasies of unloading a revolver into the head of any white person that got in my way, burying their body, and wiping my bloody hands as I walked away relatively guiltless with a bounce in my step. Like I did the world a fucking favor. (Time stamp: 7:17)

White people are out of their minds and they have been for a long time. (Time stamp: 17:06)

We are now in a psychological predicament, because white people feel that we are bullying them when we bring up race. They feel that we should be thanking them for all that they have done for us. They are confused, and so are we. We keep forgetting that directly talking about race is a waste of our breath. We are asking a demented, violent predator who thinks that they are a saint or a superhero, to accept responsibility. It ain’t gonna happen. They have five holes in their brain. It’s like banging your head against a brick wall. It’s just like sort of not a good idea. (Time stamp 17:13)

We need to remember that directly talking about race to white people is useless, because they are at the wrong level of conversation. Addressing racism assumes that white people can see and process what we are talking about. They can’t. That’s why they sound demented. They don’t even know they have a mask on. White people think it’s their actual face. We need to get to know the mask. (Time stamp 17:54)

If you go to the Bari Weiss site, you can also read the text of an interview that Katie Herzog did with Dr. Khilanani. It’s chilling, absolutely chilling. What we all need to confront is the fact that this psychiatrist, under the auspices of one of the most prestigious universities in America, delivered a lecture featuring unapologetic, unrestrained racism, and … nobody in that institution or in her circles cared. This is par for the course. They expect it. At some level, they want it.

Do I believe that most white people who heard it, or who, within the Yale community, heard it, believe what Dr. Khilanani said? No, I don’t, though I’m just guessing. But I am 100 percent sure that they are terrified to say something about it, because if you spoke up, that would be the end of you professionally.

This is how our elites think, people. They are mainstreaming anti-white racism, and treating it as good. This is a psychiatrist, invited by Yale to speak about white people as psychopaths, fantasizing openly about murdering white people because of the color of their skin, and we just go along like it’s no big deal. The New York Times doesn’t care. The Washington Post doesn’t care. NPR doesn’t care. The networks don’t care. If a whiny middle-aged white woman makes life uncomfortable for a person of color in public, it’s time for a new round of Karen stories. But let one of the most privileged people in this country — a New York psychiatrist invited to lecture by Yale — deliver a lecture demonizing white people, and … yawn. The fact that Dr. Khilanani felt at liberty to give a talk like this without fear of repercussion tells you a lot about where we are.

I don’t ever want to see Donald Trump again. He had these people’s number, in a way, but he did little or nothing effective to stop them. I want to vote for a presidential candidate who will move against these dirtbags and their institutions without mercy. Enough is enough. Iran’s largest warship catches fire, sinks in Gulf of Oman

The Iranian navy’s largest warship caught fire and sank Wednesday in the Gulf of Oman, according to reports.

The support warship Kharg sank under unclear circumstances near the Iranian port of Jask, about 790 miles southeast of Tehran, semiofficial news agencies reported.

Firefighters tried to contain the blaze, which ignited around 2:25 a.m., but efforts to save the Kharg – named after the island that serves as the main oil terminal for Iran – were unsuccessful, according to the Fars and Tasnim news agencies.

CRT teaches hatred and victimhood; it is the antithesis of our founding principles.  Our Marxist left supports BLM and Antifa as well, anarchist groups to whom they’ve given free rein to riot, loot, and burn down countless cities and businesses.

The Marxist left is on board with the campaign to defund our police.  The cities that have done so are in worse shape than ever; crime and murder rates are soaring.

Meanwhile, the mostly hapless Republicans behave like members of a wholly unserious college fraternity.  Yes, there are some heroes in both the House and Senate, but too few to fight the Alinskyite Marxists who take pride in their underhandedness.  Too many of them have voted to confirm Biden’s quiver of cobras.

‘Kill Everything White in Sight,’ Speaker Tells Crowd at Tulsa Massacre Rally

The New Black Panthers and 14 other gun clubs marched through Tulsa on Saturday to remember the victims of the Tulsa Race Massacre, May 31-June 1, 1921, in what they called a  “Second Amendment March for Reparations.“

Hundreds of people from the pro-2nd amendment gun groups, heavily armed, marched through Tulsa chanting, “black power”, “black lives matter” and “who’s streets, our streets” as they made their way to the Greenwood section of Tulsa, the predominantly black neighborhood known as “Black Wall Street” in 1921.

“The struggle for Reparations must be escalated,” a news release from the event organizers read. “We must fight on every front to achieve redress and Reparations for the atrocities committed upon Tulsa Massacre descendants; and we must intensify the fight to achieve Reparations for all 40-million Blacks still grossly affected by racism, inequality, wealth disparity, police brutality and the like. Tulsa will mark a new beginning in the upgraded fight for Reparations for Black people.”

Kyle Hooten, formerly of the Trump administration tweeted,

“When normal gun rights groups march with rifles they don’t chant “our streets.” This isn’t comparable to a gun rights rally, this is a show of force from a racial supremacist organization that the media is totally ignoring.”

Hooten also tweeted a video of a man clearly calling for a violence against white people for “6,000 years of killing us.”

No google search was able to find the statistics mentioned by the race-baiter. Actually, as per the FBI, even though white people outnumber black people 5-1, black people out murder white people at a rate greater than 2-1.

The “Tulsa Race Massacre” started May 31, 1921 when a black man, 19-year-old Dick Rowland, was arrested on suspicion of raping a white elevator operator, Sarah Page, 17. A white mob showed up at the courthouse and demanded Rowland be turned over to the crowd and lynched. Black supporters showed up to defend Rowland. Both mobs had guns and a riot broke out when a black man shot a white man. The next day roughly 1,500 white people burned 35 square blocks of the predominantly black neighborhood known as “Greenwood.”

Though some people believe as many as 300 black people were killed, a 2001 study stated 36 were killed, 26 of whom were black and 10 of whom were white. Rowland was released and not charged. He left Tulsa and never returned.

Pratt & Whitney Van Set on Fire in Orange County, CA in Solidarity with Palestinian Resistance

The brutal bombardment of Gaza, the mass eviction of Palestinians in East Jerusalem, the attack on the Al-Aqsa Mosque; these can only described as acts of ethnic cleansing and extermination.

Last week, in an act of revolutionary solidarity with autonomous Palestinian resistance, we started a fire at the Pratt & Whitney engine facility in Orange County, CA, completely destroying a fleet van and damaging the exterior of the building. For us, revolutionary solidarity can’t mean mere words or symbolic gestures; it means putting our entire bodies into the struggle and causing material damage to the war machine.

Pratt & Whitney is a division of Raytheon Technologies, the fourth largest arms dealer in the world. Pratt & Whitney have deep ties to the Israeli defense industry. In 2015, Pratt & Whitney signed a 15 year contract with the Israeli Ministry of Defense, in support of the Israeli Air Force, designed to provide 100% daily propulsion readiness for the entire Israeli fleet of F-15 and F-16 aircraft. Pratt and Whitney also supplies the engines used in the Israeli Air Forces entire fleet of F-16 fighter jets. These same fighter jets are now being used to rain down all hell on Gaza.

As we approach the one year anniversary of the burning of the 3rd Precinct in Minneapolis following the police lynching of George Floyd, we can’t forget the role that arms dealers such as Raytheon play in the militarization of law enforcement. Raytheon supplies police departments across the country with surveillance technology and training software. We know that all liberation is tied together, and that the Israeli settler state is enlivened by the same racism and colonial ambitions that the United States is embodied by. The same multinational corporations arming the IDF to crush Palestinian resistance are also arming law enforcement agencies in the US to brutalize Black and Brown communities.

Building The Perfect Serf

With a hat-tip to Aaron, whose tweet alerted me to the painfully dumb meme of the commie gov of Pennsylvania, the campaign to change Americans from proud, industrious citizens into submissive, dependent subjects is going full-throttle. The governor, recently rebuked by the citizens who voted away his dictatorial flu powers in a welcome bit of push-back, decried the fact people can buy guns from each other without his permission but can’t have dope without a medical ID card – I guess requiring ID for getting high is as onerous as it is for voting. So, in his optimal universe, people can’t get arms to protect themselves unless he thinks it’s okay and grants them a dispensation to do so, but it should be open season at the dope dispensary. And, of course, they have to be masked while doing it, at least until they wrap their lips around the bong.

Being able to defend yourself: Bad.

Being stoned on a couch watching Scooby-Doo: Good.

Being masked all the time: Better.

Guns allow people to break the monopoly on force held by the government, creating a limit to what the government can do. No wonder liberals hate that. This right gives people the impression that the consent of the governed matters. Bunch of wicked “insurrectionists” they are, daring to think they should possess some sort of ultimate veto power over their betters!

Does the imam Salim Ammar Mohamed think his Muslim audience is stupid? Does he think that none of them have actually read the Qur’an?

He says Jews use their scriptures to justify criminal acts, but in Islam “we don’t have any of this.”

Reality:

“Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into the hearts of the enemies of Allah and your enemies…” (8:60)

“When your Lord was revealing to the angels, ‘I am with you; so confirm the believers. I shall cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers; so strike the necks, and strike every finger of them!” (Qur’an 8:12)

“We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve for what they have associated with Allah of which He had not sent down authority. And their refuge will be the Fire, and wretched is the residence of the wrongdoers.” (Qur’an 3:151)

“And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from where they drove you out; persecution is worse than slaughter.
