Is Critical Race Theory at a School Near You?

The Legal Insurrection Foundation released an interactive map that allows individuals to track Critical Race Theory training in education.

The resource serves to provide students and parents with more information about the curriculum that is being taught in 200 colleges in all 50 states.

As Campus Reform has reported, Critical Race Theory training has been used by colleges and universities as a form of “diversity” training for students and faculty. Former President Donald Trump signed an executive order in 2020 banning these types of training. President Joe Biden reversed this order shortly after being sworn in.

William Jacobson, Professor at Cornell Law School and Founder of Legal Insurrection, spoke with Campus Reform about the project.“

This database is neutral, it simply provides the facts and links to programs and policies. Some people might like a school that has a lot of Critical Race Training mandates and initiatives, others may not like that. We provide the data and information so people can decide on their own,” Jacobson said.

The map does not focus specifically on the term “Critical Race Theory,” Jacobson explained that they “try to focus on programs that go beyond mere diversity initiatives, and cross over into so-called “anti-racism” and “equity” doctrines as well as other aspects of Critical Race Theory, though the lines are not always clear.”

New York, Massachusetts, Illinois, and California are among the states with the most schools on the map, with 24, 18, 14, and 20 institutions listed, respectively.

Yale’s Anti-White Racist Psychiatrist

It’s hard to come up with a better example of the woke totalitarian capture of elite institutions than this Yale School of Medicine lecture by a hardcore anti-white racist psychiatrist, the audio of which is posted on Bari Weiss’s Substack. Weiss highlights these lines from the lecture:

This is the cost of talking to white people at all. The cost of your own life, as they suck you dry. There are no good apples out there. White people make my blood boil. (Time stamp: 6:45)

I had fantasies of unloading a revolver into the head of any white person that got in my way, burying their body, and wiping my bloody hands as I walked away relatively guiltless with a bounce in my step. Like I did the world a fucking favor. (Time stamp: 7:17)

White people are out of their minds and they have been for a long time. (Time stamp: 17:06)

We are now in a psychological predicament, because white people feel that we are bullying them when we bring up race. They feel that we should be thanking them for all that they have done for us. They are confused, and so are we. We keep forgetting that directly talking about race is a waste of our breath. We are asking a demented, violent predator who thinks that they are a saint or a superhero, to accept responsibility. It ain’t gonna happen. They have five holes in their brain. It’s like banging your head against a brick wall. It’s just like sort of not a good idea. (Time stamp 17:13)

We need to remember that directly talking about race to white people is useless, because they are at the wrong level of conversation. Addressing racism assumes that white people can see and process what we are talking about. They can’t. That’s why they sound demented. They don’t even know they have a mask on. What we all need to confront is the fact that this psychiatrist, under the auspices of one of the most prestigious universities in America, delivered a lecture featuring unapologetic, unrestrained racism, and … nobody in that institution or in her circles cared. This is par for the course. They expect it. At some level, they want it.

Do I believe that most white people who heard it, or who, within the Yale community, heard it, believe what Dr. Khilanani said? No, I don’t, though I’m just guessing. But I am 100 percent sure that they are terrified to say something about it, because if you spoke up, that would be the end of you professionally.

This is how our elites think, people. They are mainstreaming anti-white racism, and treating it as good. This is a psychiatrist, invited by Yale to speak about white people as psychopaths, fantasizing openly about murdering white people because of the color of their skin, and we just go along like it’s no big deal. The New York Times doesn’t care. The Washington Post doesn’t care. NPR doesn’t care. The networks don’t care. If a whiny middle-aged white woman makes life uncomfortable for a person of color in public, it’s time for a new round of Karen stories. But let one of the most privileged people in this country — a New York psychiatrist invited to lecture by Yale — deliver a lecture demonizing white people, and … yawn. The fact that Dr. Khilanani felt at liberty to give a talk like this without fear of repercussion tells you a lot about where we are.

I don’t ever want to see Donald Trump again. He had these people’s number, in a way, but he did little or nothing effective to stop them. I want to vote for a presidential candidate who will move against these dirtbags and their institutions without mercy. Enough is enough. I’m not sure what can be done, but if we keep tolerating this, there is going to be violence, one way or another. I am not willing to sit here and listen to these aristocrats like Dr. Khilanani, and malignant institutions like Yale, turn people against me, my children, and my neighbors, because we are white.

What is wrong with you people at Yale, white and non-white, standing for this? Do you have consciences? Do you have spines? You disgust me. Live not by lies!

There is simply no comparison between the Tulsa race massacre and the Capitol riot, or between Jim Crow and modern election integrity efforts. Biden resorts to these dangerous and deceptive comparisons in order to divide the electorate along racial lines and to justify his radical agenda. Using critical race theory, Biden and his defenders can demonize any dissent from his agenda as motivated by hidden racism.

Biden’s Tulsa Massacre Speech Should Set Off Alarm Bells

On Tuesday, President Joe Biden commemorated the Tulsa race massacre, a horrendous white mob attack on the Black Wall Street in the Greenwood District of Tulsa, Okla. White mobs attacked black citizens, burned their businesses, and even dropped bombs from planes overhead. The massacre killed at least 39 people (26 black and 13 white) and hospitalized more than 800 between May 31 and June 1, 1921.

Biden took the opportunity to compare this heinous attack to… the Capitol Riot on January 6 and Republican election integrity efforts. The president tried to connect the Tulsa massacre to the Charlottesville riot in 2017 and then the Capitol riot.

Iran’s largest warship catches fire, sinks in Gulf of Oman

The Iranian navy’s largest warship caught fire and sank Wednesday in the Gulf of Oman, according to reports.

The support warship Kharg sank under unclear circumstances near the Iranian port of Jask, about 790 miles southeast of Tehran, semiofficial news agencies reported.

Firefighters tried to contain the blaze, which ignited around 2:25 a.m., but efforts to save the Kharg – named after the island that serves as the main oil terminal for Iran – were unsuccessful, according to the Fars and Tasnim news agencies.

‘Kill Everything White in Sight,’ Speaker Tells Crowd at Tulsa Massacre Rally

The New Black Panthers and 14 other gun clubs marched through Tulsa on Saturday to remember the victims of the Tulsa Race Massacre, May 31-June 1, 1921, in what they called a  “Second Amendment March for Reparations.“

Hundreds of people from the pro-2nd amendment gun groups, heavily armed, marched through Tulsa chanting, “black power”, “black lives matter” and “who’s streets, our streets” as they made their way to the Greenwood section of Tulsa, the predominantly black neighborhood known as “Black Wall Street” in 1921.

“The struggle for Reparations must be escalated,” a news release from the event organizers read. “We must fight on every front to achieve redress and Reparations for the atrocities committed upon Tulsa Massacre descendants; and we must intensify the fight to achieve Reparations for all 40-million Blacks still grossly affected by racism, inequality, wealth disparity, police brutality and the like. Tulsa will mark a new beginning in the upgraded fight for Reparations for Black people.”

Kyle Hooten, formerly of the Trump administration tweeted,

“When normal gun rights groups march with rifles they don’t chant “our streets.” This isn’t comparable to a gun rights rally, this is a show of force from a racial supremacist organization that the media is totally ignoring.”

Hooten also tweeted a video of a man clearly calling for a violence against white people for “6,000 years of killing us.”

No google search was able to find the statistics mentioned by the race-baiter. Actually, as per the FBI, even though white people outnumber black people 5-1, black people out murder white people at a rate greater than 2-1.

The “Tulsa Race Massacre” started May 31, 1921 when a black man, 19-year-old Dick Rowland, was arrested on suspicion of raping a white elevator operator, Sarah Page, 17. A white mob showed up at the courthouse and demanded Rowland be turned over to the crowd and lynched. Black supporters showed up to defend Rowland. Both mobs had guns and a riot broke out when a black man shot a white man. The next day roughly 1,500 white people burned 35 square blocks of the predominantly black neighborhood known as “Greenwood.”

Though some people believe as many as 300 black people were killed, a 2001 study stated 36 were killed, 26 of whom were black and 10 of whom were white. Rowland was released and not charged. He left Tulsa and never returned.

In 2015, Pratt & Whitney signed a 15 year contract with the Israeli Ministry of Defense, in support of the Israeli Air Force, designed to provide 100% daily propulsion readiness for the entire Israeli fleet of F-15 and F-16 aircraft. Pratt and Whitney also supplies the engines used in the Israeli Air Forces entire fleet of F-16 fighter jets. These same fighter jets are now being used to rain down all hell on Gaza.

As we approach the one year anniversary of the burning of the 3rd Precinct in Minneapolis following the police lynching of George Floyd, we can’t forget the role that arms dealers such as Raytheon play in the militarization of law enforcement. Raytheon supplies police departments across the country with surveillance technology and training software. Building The Perfect Serf

With a hat-tip to Aaron, whose tweet alerted me to the painfully dumb meme of the commie gov of Pennsylvania, the campaign to change Americans from proud, industrious citizens into submissive, dependent subjects is going full-throttle. The governor, recently rebuked by the citizens who voted away his dictatorial flu powers in a welcome bit of push-back, decried the fact people can buy guns from each other without his permission but can’t have dope without a medical ID card – I guess requiring ID for getting high is as onerous as it is for voting. So, in his optimal universe, people can’t get arms to protect themselves unless he thinks it’s okay and grants them a dispensation to do so, but it should be open season at the dope dispensary. And, of course, they have to be masked while doing it, at least until they wrap their lips around the bong.

Being able to defend yourself: Bad.

Being stoned on a couch watching Scooby-Doo: Good.

Being masked all the time: Better.

Guns allow people to break the monopoly on force held by the government, creating a limit to what the government can do. No wonder liberals hate that. This right gives people the impression that the consent of the governed matters. American killed fighting alongside Hamas during recent war.

An American citizen was reportedly killed fighting for Hamas in the recent conflict with Israel. Joe Truzman, a contributor to Foundation for Defense of Democracies Long War Journal (FDD), wrote on Saturday that “an American citizen known as Osama al-Zebda was fighting with the Hamas’ Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades during the recent conflict.

The report notes that al-Zebda was on a US terrorist watch list. His son was featured in videos with Hamas commander Yahya Sinwar on Monday, in which the Hamas commander puts a rifle in the toddler’s hand. His death and the death of his father, a well-known Hamas engineer, have been featured on Palestinian media.

He was allegedly killed by an Israeli air strike on May 12, according to the article.

“This fits a pattern of Americans who joined Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs), which is illegal pursuant to US law.” Over the last decades, numerous Americans have joined terrorist groups and some have been killed in fighting abroad. Most infamous is Adam Gadahn, killed in a US drone strike while working with Al Qaeda.

Truzman is a long-time expert on militant and terrorist groups, specifically covering Gaza. He notes that “Osama al-Zebda appears to have been the target of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) military campaign against leaders and commanders of militant factions in Gaza. Multiple commanders and mid-level Hamas militants were reportedly killed during the 10-day operation.”

Joe Biden Is Actually a Mean, Old Man When the Cameras Go Off. He’s Sucking Right Now, So I Can See Why

Joe Biden is sleepy. He’s slow. He’s aloof. And he calls it a day early—very early at times. Yet, The New York Times did a lengthy piece about the inner workings of this White House to confirm what we already knew, along with insight into what foods he hates to be served in public events and his favorite drink, which is apparently orange Gatorade.

It’s the anti-Trump piece in the sense that it shows how Joe comes to a decision which is at a pace slower than a Galapagos tortoise. Yes, that part we knew. His decision-making process is as torturous as this presidency. And the publication notes how this process is at odds with a nation that craves urgency on the economy.

The man takes everyone on an esoteric journey where details upon details are demanded and where Sleepy Joe becomes Grumpy Joe at the flip of a switch. One thing that might make progressives upset are the four final folks he solicits for advice before finally making a move—some days later (via NYT):

Mr. Biden had already spent the first two months of his presidency debating how to respond to Mr. Putin, and despite his acknowledgment in March that he needed to act quickly, his deliberations were far from over. He convened another meeting in the Situation Room that stretched for two and a half hours, and called yet another session there a week later.

“He has a kind of mantra: ‘You can never give me too much detail,’” Mr. Sullivan said.

Quick decision-making is not Mr. Biden’s style. His reputation as a plain-speaking politician hides a more complicated truth. Before making up his mind, the president demands hours of detail-laden debate from scores of policy experts, taking everyone around him on what some in the West Wing refer to as his Socratic “journey” before arriving at a conclusion.

Those trips are often difficult for his advisers, who are peppered with sometimes obscure questions. Avoiding Mr. Biden’s ire during one of his decision-making seminars means not only going beyond the vague talking points that he will reject, but also steering clear of responses laced with acronyms or too much policy minutiae, which will prompt an outburst of frustration, often laced with profanity.

Let’s talk plain English here, he will often snap.

Interviews with more than two dozen current and former Biden associates provide an early look into how Mr. Biden operates as president — how he deliberates, whom he consults for advice and what drives his decisions as he settles into the office he has chased for more than three decades.

On policy issues, Mr. Biden, 78, takes days or weeks to make up his mind as he examines and second-guesses himself and others. It is a method of governing that can feel at odds with the urgency of a country still reeling from a pandemic and an economy struggling to recover. The president is also faced with a slim majority in Congress that could evaporate next year, giving him only months to enact a lasting legacy.

Those closest to him say Mr. Biden is unwilling, or unable, to skip the routine. As a longtime adviser put it: He needs time to process the material so that he feels comfortable selling it to the public. But the approach has its risks, as President Barack Obama found out when his own, sometimes lengthy policy debates led to infighting and extended lobbying, and made his White House feel process driven.

Well, this White House being Obama 2.0 is not shocking. We have Russia and China doing what they want, just like during the Obama years. We have anemic jobs growth, just like during the Obama years. We have the president pushing more gun control. Gas prices soaring. Inflation now rising. And Biden’s biggest domestic accomplishment was set forth by Trump regarding the COVID vaccine and the rate of vaccinations.

None of what Joe Biden has proposed has really done anything, but the Times spent a lot of words dissecting the action process here. In all, it’s a lot of sentences to show that this White House is a lot of talk and no real action. Second, yeah, Biden is cranky but that’s about it while they portrayed Trump as a madman for the better part of three years. He’s slow Joe—and this piece confirms that. Also, he reportedly refuses to have leafy greens served because they get stuck in his teeth. And the final four dudes he consults with are all white, Bruce Reed, Mike Donilon, Ron Klain, and Steve Ricchetti.

Well, when the left doesn’t have something they can use for propaganda, they make one up.

Team Biden keeps hyping a basically phony ‘domestic violent extremism’ threat.

With illegal migrants crossing the southern border by the hundreds of thousands and setting new records by the month, the Department of Homeland Security’s top priority — somehow — is “domestic violent extremism,” and it doesn’t even mean Antifa.

“President Joe Biden’s top appointees have called white supremacists the greatest security threat to the country and are pushing for bolstered intelligence gathering,” the Associated Press reported last week, noting that DHS “plans to ramp up social media tracking as part of an enhanced focus on domestic violent extremism,” for which the department has opened a new office in its intelligence branch.

Yes, the Jan. 6 Capitol riot was awful, but that collection of crackpots is no serious national-security threat or there’d have been some sign of more such trouble in the months since.

Sanctimony and ignorance is not a good pairing. Add to that, the desire to bully when you cannot debate or convince anyone of your position results in the mess we are in today.

For far too long we have allowed these leftists to spew their lying venom with little or no pushback. Now they openly call for everything up to genocide of the white race. Give them time, they will put that on the table.

Cultural climate change the real existential threat

The confluence of multiculturalism, intersectionality, and extreme wokeness has led to its own rapid climate change.  %his one is far more certain, much more concrete, and eminently easier to spot.  It is cultural climate change…to the nth degree.

We are once again seeing preference given to people strictly on the basis of their skin color.  Black Lives Matter, All Lives Do Not.  Racial preferences abound in college admissions practices.  Black?  You’re in!  Asian?  You’re out!  We are now, once again, segregating dorms, graduation ceremonies, and just about everything else, based solely on immutable characteristics such as skin color.  There has even been talk in some states and localities of giving race-based preference for COVID-19 vaccinations.

Everyone must participate in the Big Lies, or risk ostracization, loss of employment, or worse.  Repeat after Dr. Fauci: “COVID-19 is an existential threat, therefore we must all hide in our homes and cover our breathing apparati.  Only a vaccine can set us free again…sort of, maybe.”

Repeat after the mainstream media, Deep State, and the Biden administration: “There was no fraud in the 2020 presidential election.  Anyone who believes that is a nutcase and should be prevented from speaking in a public forum…if not prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Repeat after the mainstream media: “Trump colluded with Russia.  He is a Russian asset, a plant.  He is an existential threat to democracy and this nation that we all love so dearly.  And Russia massively interfered in the 2016 presidential election, probably enabling Trump to win.”

Repeat after the education establishment, Big Media, Big Tech, Big Entertainment, and the Biden administration: “The U.S. is, and always has been, a systemically racist nation, overtly hostile to peoples of color; the LGBTQIA Community; and anyone not a white, cis-gendered, heterosexual Christian male.”

I fully expect to see, in the very near future, formalized preference for Womyn, peoples of color, and members of the LGBTQIA Community at amusement parks, in post office lines, at lunch counters, for cancer screening and baptisms, at boat launches…and probably everywhere else.

You sense it.  You feel it.  You know it.  This type of climate change is real.  And damaging.  As are all forms of institutionalized racial preference and discrimination.

It’s worth noting that throughout history, in virtually every place that totalitarian regimes have arisen, the residents of these countries felt the same way. Russia was seen as too traditional and backward, the power of the Czar too entrenched to be defeated. Germany had been viewed throughout most of the modern period as the home of Goethe, Schiller, and Mozart, a place where the local Jewish population had largely assimilated.

Because totalitarianism emerges differently throughout history in different countries, it’s crucial to take a broader view of how totalitarian regimes arise. For example, when we’re discussing the rise of communism or the rise of fascism, we see different trends in Russia than we do in China, different trends in Italy than we do in Germany. When we examine multiple, somewhat lesser known examples of the rise of socialism throughout the world, we paint a picture of the different ways in which socialism originated and its possible resurgence.

This case study of terror analyses three examples of totalitarianism throughout history. In Czechoslovakia, the Communist Party was able to establish the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic by leveraging little more than a strong showing – but not a victory – in the parliamentary elections. During the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution of Communist China in the 1960s, Chairman Mao came out of relative isolation to radically remake an already communist country. Lastly, we will look right in America’s backyard at the rise of Hugo Chavez in Venezuela.

Antifa Fails to Shut Down Right-Wing Flag Event in Oregon City

After being outnumbered, Antifa failed to shut down the weekly right-wing flag event in Oregon City, which neighbors Portland except here law enforcement and the district attorney don’t tolerate rioting.

Antifa groups circulated a flyer online last week calling for comrades to counter protest the weekly flag waving event near Clackamas Community College. “Oregon City is allowing fascists to continue and grow their weekly flag wave, if we don’t put a stop to it, they will command more control!” the flyer urged. Clackamas Community College canceled classes in light of Antifa’s anticipated presence.

“After conferring with law enforcement, we are acting out of an abundance of caution to keep the college community safe by closing our physical campus for the day,” the school’s executive director of college relations and marketing Lori Hall told Oregon Public Broadcasting. Hall said the college was made aware this past weekend of the social media post promoting the counter Antifa protest.

Friday, the day of the dueling protest, things seemed anti-climatic as Antifa only managed small numbers and gathered at a shopping center near the college campus then quickly left. Portland-based Antifa accounts on Twitter expressed outrage that not enough appeared to shut down the conservative rally.

Police were on scene Friday to keep the opposing groups separate, but there were no reports of any violence breaking out. “The people you call Antifa,” one of the right-wing protesters told KOIN 6 News, “they have no idea what Portland is. They watched Portlandia and came here. They’re hipsters wearing all black. Hot Topic anarchists,” the 42-year-old said to the local news outlet.

In all, at least 250 conservative demonstrators, some armed, protested at the planned event that seemed to occur without incident despite the hype.

We have constantly heard the mantra from the left that “you can oppose Israel and oppose anti-Semitism.” That’s very true. Israel is certainly not untouchable. They have made mistakes, They have made foolish decisions, as any other state does from time to time.

But the Free Beacon has it exactly right. The new anti-Semitism is the old anti-Semitism dressed up in social justice rhetoric. It incites violence against Jews just as surely as the obscene, nauseating anti-Semitism of those Palestinians in London screaming to rape the daughters of Jews.

There is absolutely no difference. And the radicals would see that if they weren’t so besotted with a warped concept of “justice”

ANTI-SEMITIC ATTACKS ON THE RISE AS THE LEFT CONTINUES TO INCITE VIOLENCE.

Even though there’s a cease-fire in Gaza as Israel and Hamas catch their breath before the next round of terrorist attacks and retaliation, the violence against Jews in the United States is escalating.

A pro-Palestinian mob attacked two Jewish customers at a well-known bagel shop in Manhattan. Amit Skornik and Snir Dayan are Israeli army veterans who went out for a bite to eat. The mob confronted them after Dayan attached a small Israeli flag to his motorcycle.

 

In another incident, a pro-Palestinian was arrested during a March and charged with a hate crime after beating a Jewish bystander.

Wall Street Journal:

Waseem Awawdeh, 23 years old, is accused of attacking the 29-year-old Jewish man on Thursday night on Broadway near West 49th Street as protesters made their way through Times Square and clashed with pro-Israeli counterdemonstrators and police, the officials said.

The suspect was among a group of five or six people who made anti-Semitic comments while punching, kicking and pepper spraying the victim, the officials said. The group also beat the victim with a crutch, according to the officials. The victim was hospitalized and was in stable condition, according to the police officials.

There have been several other anti-Semitic attacks across the country. But the anti-racists on the left who can certainly scream loud enough if a policeman kills a black person, have suddenly gone mute. Either they aren’t speaking up or have actively taken up the Palestinian cause.

Everytown’s Chinese Communist Party Connection

On May 17, Breitbart News published an exclusive article detailing Mike Bloomberg and his buddies working hand in hand with the Chinese Communist Government. Over at Mom-At-Arms, we published our own article after researching those involved in Breitbart’s, and as it turns out, someone very important within Everytown‘s ranks is among the individuals pinpointed. You could say Everytown might not exist without him.
It‘s no secret the Chinese government is not a fan of the 2nd Amendment. In fact in 2012 (and to this day), they say that civilian gun ownership in the US is a “human rights violation“ (thank you, David, for the link). So where does Everytown fit in?   • December 21, 2015: Bloomberg LP global executive vice president Kevin Sheekey met with Jiang as well as Zhang Fuhai and Zhang Hongbin, respectively the director general and deputy director general of the SCIO Internet Affairs Bureau. They run an arm of the Chinese regime that deals with Internet censorship. Sheekey would become Michael Bloomberg’s campaign manager for his 2020 presidential run.
  • June 7, 2017: Kevin Sheekey, who was then vice president of government relations at Bloomberg LP, again met with communist propaganda minister Jiang. According to the Chinese government, “they talked about China-U.S. media exchanges and cooperation, the introduction of Chinese stories to the world, and efforts to promote healthy and stable relations between the two countries.”
Kevin Sheekey, as named in Breitbart’s article along with many more, is friendly with the Chinese Communist Government and has been working closely with those that deal with censorship, as well as promoting pro-Chinese stories here in the US.

WHY BIDEN WANTS A WAR IN ISRAEL

Terrorists have only one thing to offer. It’s right there in the name.

The business model of terrorism is killing people and then demanding a payoff. The game always works the same way. The terrorists attack, their targets fight back, and a third party sends in the diplomats to negotiate on behalf of the terrorists before they get hit too hard.

The Islamic terrorist war against Israel has worked exactly this way for generations.

Like a radio pop song that plays every time you go into a supermarket, you know the next verse and can feel the next beat before it even kicks in no matter how much you hate the music.

It’s the same way with the regular mini wars that begin with a manufactured political provocation that can be blamed on Israel, (this time a court ruling evicting illegal Muslim colonists occupying homes that were seized during the ‘48 ethnic cleansing of Jews from Jerusalem), followed by terrorist violence with the usual pattern of attack and escalation.

Hamas and a few of its allies shell Israeli towns and cities using the latest Iranian technology and some of their own cruder models. Israel responds by calculatedly taking out terrorist compounds which Hamas has, with equal calculation, filled with civilian human shields.

Especially children.

Politicians, the media, and social media (three distinctions without a difference) rush to attack Israel, vastly inflating the already inflated casualty figures put out by the terrorists, lying about the nature of the conflict, and doing their best to mainstream antisemitism a little more.

The Biden administration makes a few public statements vaguely supporting Israel’s right to defend itself, an absurd point, and sends in mediators to negotiate the payoff for the terrorists.

Israel had a brief break from America acting as the paymaster and bagman for the terrorists.

It was a refreshing pause especially for all the children who didn’t get bombed, the homes that didn’t have rockets smash through their roofs, and the soldiers who didn’t get shot just so that State Department negotiators could tell Israel the current going rate for ending the attacks.

Islamic terrorists aren’t crazy or irrational. The average suicide bomber might be, but their leadership doesn’t do anything without a profit motive.

The profits for Islamic terrorism against Israel come in two ways.

First, the terrorists are backed by Iran, Qatar, Turkey, and the rest of the Islamist gang to carry out attacks on Israel. Second, the terrorists are rewarded by the United States, Europe, and Israel for ending the attacks.

This never leads to peace because if you keep rewarding terrorists for ending the violence, you’re also telling them that if they do it all over again, they’ll profit from the violence.

Paying the terrorists not to attack you is really the same thing as paying them to attack you.

But the essence of the peace game is obliviousness. That means believing that there are root causes that can resolve the underlying grievances. The root cause is the existence of Israel.

The terrorists want to destroy Israel: Israel doesn’t want to be destroyed.
