Louisville shooter Connor Sturgeon reportedly detailed reasons for rampage in manifesto

The 25-year-old commercial developer wrote a 13-page missive that detailed his motives for gunning down his colleagues during their morning conference at the Old National Bank last week, a massacre he captured on a deranged Instagram live stream, the DailyMail reported.

Sturgeon reportedly hoped to showcase how easy it was to buy a gun in Kentucky and wanted to highlight the mental health crisis in America.

He also planned to end the slaughter by suicide — a wish that was granted when he was shot to death by police officers he brandished his firearm.

Sturgeon’s manifesto is now reportedly in the hands of the Louisville Police Department.

The department would not confirm or deny any details of the alleged missive.

The mass shooter legally purchased his AR-15 assault rifle from a local gun dealership just six days before the rampage.

That gun is now slated to be auctioned off thanks to state law allowing guns seized by the police to go to auction, including those used in violent crimes.

Sturgeon’s family has also spoken about his “mental health challenges,” though did not specify what illnesses he was battling.

Specialists are testing the killer’s brain for chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), or brain deterioration caused by repeated head trauma after it was revealed he suffered numerous sports-related concussions.

A neighbor of Sturgeon’s told The Post that the manifesto was found by Sturgeon’s roommate Dallas Whelan — the same friend who left a voicemail from the killer saying he felt “suicidal” and planned to “kill everyone at the bank.”

“He seemed like he was tripping, like he couldn’t believe any of this,” Michael McCoy, 45, said of Whelan reporting the missive to the cops.

“He said something about my neighbor and a manifesto. They called and reported it to the cops.”

“I was over here up on the porch sweeping and there were detectives and him talking, and something about a manifesto and something about a letter he left 
 He specifically said a manifesto.”

A motive for the mass shooting has not yet been revealed, but Sturgeon had been told he was going to be fired from the bank shortly before the massacre.

Killed in the rampage were Tommy Elliott, 63, a senior vice president; Jim Tutt, 64, a market executive; Joshua Barrick, 40, another senior vice president; Juliana Farmer, 45, a commercial loan specialist; and Deana Eckert, 57, an executive administrative officer.

Rookie police officer Nickolas Wilt, 26, was listed in critical condition after undergoing surgery for a brain injury.

Fellow cop Cory Galloway was grazed in the shoulder in the fatal shootout.

The Parable of the Drowning Man: Communist Version.

We were having an interesting discussion on my FB wall about free will because I made the observation that even God left Man free will, whereas Man would definitely not and it segued into some comments about Christianity. If you read my previous Pretending to Sleep posts about coming to America, I wrote a little bit about my relationship with religion, particularly organized religion (i.e. I am not a fan or a practitioner). Nevertheless, I do have an appreciation for the Great Clockmaker (as my friend Justin dubbed it) and my religious friends with whom I apparently have more in common than not (weird, I admit).

There is a Christian story involving a flood, called the “Parable of the Drowning Man.”

The parable of the drowning man, also known as Two Boats and a Helicopter, is a short story, often told as a joke, most often about a devoutly Christian man, frequently a minister, who refuses several rescue attempts in the face of approaching floodwaters, each time telling the would-be rescuers that God will save him. After turning down the last, he drowns in the flood. After his death, the man meets God and asks why he did not intervene. God responds that he sent all the would-be rescuers to the man’s aid on the expectation he would accept the help.—Wikipedia

The version I was taught is a little different. Now, do keep in mind that I’m paraphrasing, not quoting, and that there are probably variations of this, as there often are (Ivan and the Goat comes to mind for example):

A boyar (large landowner) and a peasant escape a sudden flood and somehow end up in a tree. The flood sweeps everything away, so it’s just the two of them. The boyar filled his pockets with gold; the peasant with bread.

Time passes and the boyar offers the peasant some of his gold in exchange for the bread, at which point the peasant speaks truth-to-power and lectures the boyar on his choices (something which happens only in parables and revisionist fantasies).

Weak with hunger, the boyar falls out of the tree and drowns. Sustained by the bread, the peasant survives and when the flood waters recede, he gets down, pilfers the drowned boyar’s pockets for the gold and takes it with him to give to his village to rebuild a new, fairer, equal society or some such BS.

Like all parables, it has a message: in this case, death to the boyars. Or perhaps, “don’t worry, in the end, fate (clears throat: some undefinable power in the Universe) will take care of evildoers.”

The message is not “wealth is bad” because it is wealth that is used to build the new communist society. Now, we could argue ad infinitum about whom the gold actually belonged to (yawn; I’m not gonna convince you and you’re not gonna convince me so let’s just skip ahead to “let’s agree to disagree”) in the first place.

The ethics of what people would do in a life-or-death situation like this aside (hint: you don’t know what you’ll actually do until you have to, no matter how much you’d like to think of yourself as virtuous), what’s really interesting about this parable is how clearly it announces the intentions of communism—only when the bad people are dead will the downtrodden be able to build paradise.

So don’t say that you’ve not been warned, especially if the 100 million deaths in the 20th century alone are just not proof enough for you. “It’ll be different this time. We (the ones we’ve been waiting for, the right people) will be in charge.” Sure, sure.

And please don’t miss the irony of the actual economics that are implied here which is to say that the assumption is that that gold would actually end up doing good in the hands of people who ended up with it, especially the modern version of those people. There’s a reason that the Pareto Principle (power law distribution) is an actual thing that manifests again and again. Just like there’s a reason that collective farms lead to shortages, starvation, and slave labor (the actual result of communism). Somehow (shocker!) it’s always that “we are the ones we’ve been waiting for” who are in charge when these things “happen.”

Thatcher was absolutely right and I don’t see her being disproven now or ever. The only error in that statement was the use of the word “socialism.”

Remember, it’s not like they’re not telling you what their intent is.

Tolerance and Acceptance Were Never Going to Be Enough for the Trans Crowd.

I try to bring humor to everything. I’m a comedian. As my wonderful friend and mentor Stephen Kruiser can tell you, comics find humor in the worst of conditions. Not only can I not see the “funny” in the Tennessee shooting, I don’t want to seek it.

The trans movement asked for tolerance, then acceptance. Then they just wanted to use the restroom of their preference for their safety, despite a lack of violence against trans people and a bushel full of trans attacks on kids. We allowed it. I regret that. A lot.

Today, we are at a point where a 6’4″ man named “Lia” Thomas has been allowed to dominate women’s college swimming, while the real women on the team were told to shut up and not complain about losing their accolades to Thomas and having to eyeball his twig and berries in the showers.

Major publications like the NY Post, the Daily Mail, and even the Post Millennial have called “he” a “she.”

People have lost their jobs for refusing to play make-believe with the small portion of the country plagued by a mental malady called “gender dysphoria.”

Despite all the ass-kissing the trans crowd has enjoyed, they feel they are being “genocided” out of existence. So much so that they are planning a “day of trans vengeance.”

In the United States, the trans crowd walks on water. Yet six people — three of them only nine years old — had to die, just five days before the “day of trans vengeance.” One of them was the daughter of the school’s pastor. I’m sure that was just a coincidence, right?

Understand That Some of Them Want You Dead

Some psycho freak attacks a school and murders kids and teachers and you naturally want to draw a lesson from it. But it just happened and we do not actually know anything except a basic outline of the facts. One problem is that we may never know – if the facts are determined by the regime to be counter to the Licensed and Approved Narrative, then we will never know them This will go in the Forgotten Atrocity File, because it is not useful for the purpose of subjugating us.

Of course, some of these people are not satisfied with mere subjugation. They want extermination. For a slice of the Twitter pie, the massacre at a Christian school was a cause for smug celebration. Take that, Jesus people.

You need to accept that some people want you dead.

It’s nothing personal though, because you are not a person to them. You are an Other, an enemy, a designated villain for whom no suffering is sufficient to purge the crime of being you and not understanding that your proper role is submission. You look at how the other socialists through history, of various flavors, convinced people to engage in genocide and you realize it is all the same. The Other is bad, the Other is not human, the Other must die. The Russian Bolshevik socialists thought that way as they murdered millions. And the German national socialists thought that way as they murdered millions. And the Red Chinese, the Khmer Rouge, the Cuban socialists – all of them butchered those who were not quite human not because they were no homos sapiens but because they were not New Socialist Men.

This is the same with only the scope and the terminology. Maybe it was some antifa freak dreaming of a French Revolution here. Maybe it was some trans monster acting out his/her/zir homicidal fantasies. Maybe it was just a bastard. You can bet that if it was anything but an allegedly Christian Republican NRA member you won’t hear a damn thing. I would add race to the mix, but that’s not even important to their bogus analysis.

“White Latinos,” black people who are the face of white supremacy, it doesn’t matter. All their race hustling is simply cover for the real truth. They hate you because, whatever your race or religion or anything else, you refuse to submit.

And some of them want you dead.

Some on social media will tell you. If the freak killers do not murder you, something else will do. Remember during COVID how the plus side was all the bad people who refused the vaxx would die? Remember how East Palestine deserved it for liking Trump. When a fire or a tornado hits a place that did not go all in for Biden, the eager on-line onanism begins.

Many more will simply shrug. They are not broken up at all. Your deaths are of no particular import. It might as well be a famine in Burkina Faso for all they care. You do not matter. You do not enter into their consciousness, and if there are fewer of you, well, that’s a plus.

Now, they need not do it directly. They can do it indirectly. They will eagerly demand that you disarm, because guns are bad you see. Except no one ever wanted to help you by making you less able to defend yourself. This is not about helping you. You are never going to shoot someone in a drug deal gone south or a carjacking. You will never walk into a school with murder on your mind. All you will do with those big, evil guns of yours is defend yourselves against criminals and tyrants. But then, our enemies like criminals and love tyrants. And they hate you.

So, defend yourself you must. There’s no one out there who will ride to the rescue. The cops of Uvalde are a dire warning to the rest of us citizens. At the end of the day, a certain type of regime flunky will stop the cop who wants to go in and kill the criminal. And that certain type seems more and more common. It’s by intent. If you live in fear, you are easier to rule.

They want you disarmed, and if you are armed – until they can fix that – they want you neutered. Cops, at least many of them, will not stop the bad people. They have been told not to. Who needs to take the political hit for defunding the police when your Soros-bought prosecutor will just let the dirtbag you risked your life to bust go? Why take that risk? As a cop doing his job (or a citizen acting in the defense of himself or others), you risk more than your life. What if that criminal you bust dies as you take him down? It happens. And cops (and citizens) know that the same deference given to scumbags will never, ever be given to you. So the cops let the criminals prey on each other, which necessarily means they prey on citizens. And the citizens take their futures in their hands if they resist. Remember that guy robbed in his bodega who stabbed the career criminal to keep from being murdered? He’d be in prison now if not for the glare of publicity. Who wants to risk that?

We should not have to.

We need to pressure our Republicans in the states and in the House to act. We need pro-gun freedom legislation. We need pro-self-defense procedural rules that make it difficult for communist prosecutors to hassle innocent citizens who are simply ridding society of degenerate criminals. And we need laws that allow Republican governors to fire prosecutors who protect the criminals instead of the citizens

Understand that a lot of these people really do prefer you passed on. Time to stop letting them put that into action. We must defend ourselves because no one else will.

World Government Summit Panelist Says ‘Shock’ Needed for ‘Transformation’ of ‘International Order’

According to a panelist at the World Government Summit in the United Arab Emirates this week, the “international order” needs some reorganizing — and not in a “gradual” way, but with a “shock.” His fellow panelist agreed that global institutions, which of course have little to no accountability to the citizens of specific countries, need more power to stop crises. The unanswered question is, just what sort of “shock” do these globalists have in mind?

Three experts spoke during the Feb. 13 panel, “Key Predictions for a Changing World Order.” The World Government Summit website describes the panel: “A world transformed by climate shocks? A multipolar economic future? A democratic renaissance? In the history of global events, pandemics and wars have both been proven turning points in history. So what lies ahead? During this session, we invite leading Professor Arturo Bris, Director to build on their strategic foresight and envision the state of the future world order.”

Bris, director of IMD World Competitiveness Center, certainly has opinions on the “future world order,” and he made a somewhat vague but “shock”ing comment during the panel.

Katherine Clark daughter Riley arrested in assault on officer during protest

The adult child of House Minority Whip Katherine Clark, Massachusetts Democrat, was arrested during protests Saturday night in Boston and charged with assaulting a police officer and other crimes.

The Boston Police Department said 23-year-old Jared Dowell, who goes by Riley and claims to be nonbinary, was observed spray-painting anti-police phrases associated with Antifa on a monument downtown.

The protests were in response to last week’s police killing of 26-year-old activist Manuel Esteban Paez Tera in Atlanta after he fired on law enforcement. What began as peaceful protests in that city over the weekend also turned violent, resulting in damaged businesses and torched cop cars.

“During the arrest of Jared Dowell, a group of about 20 protesters began to surround officers while screaming profanities though megaphones on the public street causing traffic to come to a standstill,” Boston PD said. “While interfering with the arrest of Jared Dowell, an officer was hit in the face and could be seen bleeding from the nose and mouth.”

The suspect was charged with assault by means of a dangerous weapon, destruction or injury of personal property, and damage of property by graffiti/tagging, according to police, and will be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court at a time that was not immediately specified.

In a statement, Ms. Clark called the arrest “a very difficult time in the cycle of joy and pain in parenting.”

“This will be evaluated by the legal system, and I am confident in that process,” she said.

Police said 27-year-old Andrea Colletti was arrested in the same incident after attempting to flee on foot. She was charged with damage of property by graffiti/tagging, destruction or injury of personal property. and resisting arrest.

Cori Bush reveals that when Democrats talk about race, they simply mean party

Democratic Rep. Cori Bush (MO) wants you to know that Republican Rep. Byron Donalds (FL) does not count as black.

That’s the only interpretation of her comment. Donalds has been nominated to be speaker of the House. Regardless of the circumstances, and regardless of what you think of Donalds’s politics, that’s historic.

At least, this was the rule when Democrats were nominating their first black man or first woman to be president.

“Everybody ought to celebrate it, Republican or Democrat alike,” Democrat John Kerry proclaimed after Clinton won the nomination. “It’s a breakthrough.”

This was always a lie, I wrote after Giorgia Meloni and Rishi Sunak got no grand congratulations on their elections in Italy and the United Kingdom, respectively.

“When they said we should celebrate racial diversity and historic firsts, what they really meant was: ‘We should celebrate the Left’s wins and come up with excuses to call the Right racist or sexist.’”

We know for a fact that Democrats and liberals use the charge of racism dishonestly as a cudgel — as a way to shut up political enemies and increase the cost of opposing them.

Recall how liberals wrote in private emails they expected only their allies to see: “Take one of them … who cares — and call them racists.”

“What is necessary,” liberal journalist Spencer Ackerman explained, “is to raise the cost on the right of going after the left. In other words, find a rightwinger’s [face] and smash it through a plate-glass window. Take a snapshot of the bleeding mess and send it out in a Christmas card to let the right know that it needs to live in a state of constant fear.”

Pro-life students threatened with gun violence

On the morning of December 3, Students for Life Action (SFLA) members were greeted with a note from pro-aboriton activists that read, “We will shoot up your Newman Center with our new AR14 rifles.”

The entire note read, “If our right to abortion in Bellevue is taken away due to the attempt to pass an abortion ban and it gets passed we will shoot up your Newman Center with our new AR14 rifles.”

Students for Life Action was meeting at the Newman Center, located between the University of Nebraska-Omaha & the College of St. Mary, to host a political workshop.

The workshop was intended to “gather pro-life activists from across the state to strategize about how to use the Campaign for Abortion Free Cities to shut down the late-term abortion facility in the state,” according to the SFLA blog.

Kyle Poen, Midwest Regional Coordinator for SFLA, arrived at the training to find the threat.

Poen told Campus Reform it was a “sobering moment, but we had a sense it could get rough when the pro-abortion lobby promoted a ‘Summer of rage.’”

“You always have to assume there is credible danger in a situation like this,” he added.

Poen went on to emphasize, “We are taking precautions but will not be silenced on the human rights issue of our day.”

President of Students for Life Action, Kristan Hawkins, commented on the situation on Twitter, writing that “[w]e are headed towards tragedy if AG Merrick Garland continues to refuse to act to protect peaceful pro-lifers from pro-abortion terrorist groups.”

DEMOCRATS’ GUN CONTROL DUPLICITY LAID BARE

It is time for President Joe Biden to drop the gun control charade. He – and his Capitol Hill gun control supporters – were never interested in curbing criminal misuse of guns. They are only interested in controlling you.

President Biden’s prisoner swap with Russia of a convicted international arms trafficker for a WNBA star proved that his administration doesn’t care about keeping guns out of the hands of those who should never have them. His only interest when it comes to guns is keeping them out of the hands of those who obey the law. His podium admonitions are betrayed by his actions.

‘Merchant of Death’

President Biden announced last week the trade with Russia of Viktor Bout for Brittney Griner. Bout is a notorious international arms smuggler who earned the moniker “Merchant of Death.” He is a former Soviet-era military officer who was arrested in 2008 in Thailand by U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents in a sting for proposing a sale of tens of millions of dollars to the Colombian narco-terrorist group Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC. The illicit sale was for $20 million worth of “a breathtaking arsenal of weapons — including hundreds of surface-to-air missiles, machine guns and sniper rifles — 10 million rounds of ammunition and five tons of plastic explosives.”

Bout’s history runs much deeper. He was identified as an illicit arms dealer by the United Nations in 2000. He was moving arms to African warlords, Middle East dictators and Central American narco-terrorist groups. His attempt to arm the FARC was what ultimately put him in prison for charges of conspiracy to kill U.S. nationals, U.S. officers and employees, conspiracy to acquire missiles to destroy aircraft and conspiracy to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization.

Bout was traded for Griner, a basketball player arrested by Russia in February on drug possession charges.

Security Threat

The swap has been lampooned by critics for how lopsided it is. Russia continues to hold former Marine Paul Whelan, arrested on dubious espionage charges. Former National Security Advisor and Ambassador to the U.N. John Bolton told CBS News, “This is not a deal. This is not a swap. This is a surrender.”

Fox News reported that former DEA Special Operation Director Derek Maltz, who was involved in Bout’s capture, slammed the White House for their “ironic” prisoner swap, arguing that it’s “disgusting” for the Biden administration to sell gun control while celebrating the release of an international arms trafficker.

Even the Pentagon is wary. “I think there is a concern that he would return to doing the same kind of work that he’s done in the past,” a senior defense official told reporters.

The exchange exposed how unserious this administration truly is when it comes to ending the criminal misuse of firearms. Less than one day before the swap was announced, President Biden renewed his pledge to ban Modern Sporting Rifles (MSRs) in America. That pronouncement came just days after he told media, “The idea we still allow semi-automatic weapons to be purchased is sick. Just sick. It has no socially redeeming value. Zero. None. Not a single solitary rationale for it except profit for the gun manufacturers.”

Portland’s Antifa ‘Justice’ Strikes Again

A Portland “anti-fascist” activist has been found not guilty of being a fascist by roughing up a journalist and stealing his phone because he didn’t like what the reporter said about his Antifa friends. After the Portland judge let off the notorious Portland Antifa attacker, he delivered a lecture to the victim, reporter Andy Ngo.

There’s your justice, Portland.

Ngo sought justice in court for three-and-a-half years against John Hacker, one of a mob of activists that has made a point to follow, chase, hassle, and attack Ngo multiple times.

 

The Post Millennial reported that Hacker confronted Ngo in a Portland area 24 Hour Fitness where he assaulted the reporter, poured water on him, and stole his phone. Ngo captured part of John Hacker’s attack on video.

“The shaky video is less than 30 seconds long, but prosecutors say it’s a key piece of evidence showing Hacker approaching Ngo, grabbing the device, and yelling, “I will break your f*cking phone,” the news website reported.

The Deputy District Attorney argued before the judge that Hacker had conducted a “harassment campaign targeting Ngo for years.”

Indeed, Hacker was part of a mob that chased Ngo in downtown Portland, forcing the journalist to seek a hiding place at a posh hotel.

HOMICIDAL URGES ON THE LEFT
If you have the feeling that liberals would like to kill you, you aren’t paranoid. You are catching on.

Around the world, we are seeing increasingly violent talk from the Left. All too often, that talk has led to violent action. When Congressman and Senate candidate Tim Ryan says “we’ve got to kill and confront” the movement of “extremist Republicans,” you are right if you think he means you.

This liberal outrage comes from the U.K.: a video game in which you try to kill Margaret Thatcher. The game is endorsed by a former leader of the Labour Party:

I’ll bet he did. Can you imagine the fallout if someone produced a video game where the object was to murder, say, Barack Obama? No, I don’t think you can. But killing conservatives is all the rage.

A description of Thatcher’s Techbase written by Mr Purvis on its release read: “On Sept 24, Margaret Thatcher will rise from her grave. Only you can send her back to hell.

Liberal Networks Avoid North Dakota Teen Killed by Man Who Dubbed Victim a ‘Republican Extremist’

The liberal media has long decried the threat of violent right-wing extremism, but when the violence allegedly targets the right, news organizations largely turn a blind eye.

Eighteen-year-old North Dakotan Cayler Ellingson was allegedly targeted and killed by drunken 41-year-old motorist Shannon Brandt following a “political argument,” according to court documents that revealed Brandt’s account of what transpired.

Brandt, who initially fled the scene after hitting the teen with his SUV, told police that Ellingson had belonged to a “Republican extremist group.” Brandt was released on $50,000 bond.

None of the five major news networks — ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and MSNBC — have offered any on-air coverage to the attack on Wednesday and Thursday, according to Grabien transcripts………

North Dakota Official Says ‘No Evidence’ Supports Suspect’s Claim

A North Dakota official said that there’s “no evidence” supporting Shannon Brandt’s claim that 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson was part of a “Republican extremist group” before he allegedly used his car to hit the teenager, who later died.

Brandt, 41, is being charged with criminal vehicular homicide, as well as leaving the scene of a crash involving a death after the incident in the early Sunday morning hours. He was held in the Stutsman County Jail until Tuesday, when he posted a $50,000 bond and was released.

The incident happened after a “street dance” in McHenry, North Dakota and Brandt told state first responders’ radio that he struck the pedestrian with an SUV because the pedestrian was threatening him,” a probable-cause affidavit states. The document also states that Brandt fled the scene, but later returned and called 911.

This leftist didn’t understand why he was just arrested for running over, killing an 18-year-old “Republican extremist.” Huh.

8-year-old Cayler Ellingson was attending a street dance in McHenry, North Dakota, when he encountered a drunken 41-year-old, Shannon Brandt. At some point, they began to argue about politics, and when the street dance was over, Ellingson started walking home.

But Brandt was waiting for him.

Ellingson’s mom said that the teen called her and asked that she come and get him because Brandt was chasing him through the small town with his SUV, but by the time she arrived, it was too late. Brandt had run down and murdered her son.

Brandt called the police himself to inform them that he had helped them stop a Republican extremist, and that they could come pick up the suspect.

Video interviews show Brandt visibly confused over why he was the one being arrested. The guy really did think he was doing a good thing killing a conservative kid.

A judge ordered Brandt held on $50,000 bail, which he objected to, saying he’s not a flight risk.

“I have a job, a life and a house and things I don’t want to see go by the wayside — family that are very important to me,” Brandt told the judge.

Brandt has so far been charged with vehicular homicide and faces a minimum of 10 years in prison because of a previous DUI on his record. The maximum is 20 years. The police are still interviewing witnesses at the street dance and have not ruled out adding further charges due to the intentional nature of the crime.

Can we really be that surprised that it has come to this?

Welp, Biden’s divisive and hateful anti-Trump and MAGA speech has had its desired effect of making Americans hate each other even more.

As a parent, my heart is heavy for Cayler Ellingson’s mother. I cannot imagine the pain she is going through.

It can’t bring back her son, but there is a GoFundMe me set up to help with his funeral expenses.

Brandt posted bail, and is back on the streets. He is now in the process of scrubbing his social media.
