Chris Murphy Outlines Other Gun Laws Democrats Can Pursue Once Universal Background Checks Secured
During the March 28, 2021, airing of NBC’s Meet the Press, Sen. Chris Murphy (D) outlined additional gun control that could be considered once universal background checks are in place.
His comments came after host Chuck Todd asked if it is a “political impossibility” to secure regulation of certain categories of firearms at this time.
Murphy responded, “I think right now, our best chance to get something passed is universal background checks. And I think that the theory of the case is once we can convince Republicans that the sky doesn’t fall for you politically when you support a reasonable expansion of something like background checks, you can move on to other interventions.”
Murphy then described what some of the “other interventions” might entail, lauding the gun owner permitting system in Connecticut as well as the broadening of factors that will land an individual on the prohibited purchasers’ list.
Eight days after the October 1, 2017, Las Vegas attack, Murphy pushed universal background check legislation, referring to it as the “North Star” for Democrats, regarding gun control.
Ironically, the Las Vegas attacker passed background checks for firearms, so universal background checks would have done nothing to hinder, much less prevent, that attack.
Equally ironic, the March 22, 2021, Boulder, Colorado, attacker acquired his gun via a background check as well.
Moreover, Colorado already has universal background checks. Breitbart News noted Colorado adopted the universal checks in 2013.
So 3 television networks, a couple of national news magazines, and a handful of newspapers per big city? amirite?
A Biden Appointee’s Troubling Views On The First Amendment.
When Columbia law professor Timothy Wu was appointed by Joe Biden to the National Economic Council a few weeks back, the press hailed it as great news for progressives. The author of The Curse of Bigness: Antitrust in the New Gilded Age is known as a staunch advocate of antitrust enforcement, and Biden’s choice of him, along with the appointment of Lina Khan to the Federal Trade Commission, was widely seen as a signal that the new administration was assembling what Wired called an “antitrust all-star team.”
“Big Tech critic Tim Wu joins Biden administration to work on competition policy,” boomed CNBC, while Marketwatch added, “Anti-Big Tech crusader reportedly poised to join Biden White House.” Chicago law professor Eric Posner’s piece for Project Syndicate was titled “Antitrust is Back in America.” Posner noted Wu’s appointment comes as Senator Amy Klobuchar has introduced regulatory legislation that ostensibly targets companies like Facebook and Google, which a House committee last year concluded have accrued “monopoly power.”
Wu’s appointment may presage tougher enforcement of tech firms. However, he has other passions that got less ink. Specifically, Wu — who introduced the concept of “net neutrality” and once explained it to Stephen Colbert on a roller coaster — is among the intellectual leaders of a growing movement in Democratic circles to scale back the First Amendment. He wrote an influential September, 2017 article called “Is the First Amendment Obsolete?” that argues traditional speech freedoms need to be rethought in the Internet/Trump era. He outlined the same ideas in a 2018 Aspen Ideas Festival speech:
Listening to Wu, who has not responded to requests for an interview, is confusing. He calls himself a “devotee” of the great Louis Brandeis, speaking with reverence about his ideas and those of other famed judicial speech champions like Learned Hand and Oliver Wendell Holmes. In the Aspen speech above, he went so far as to say about First Amendment protections that “these old opinions are so great, it’s like watching The Godfather, you can’t imagine anything could be better.”
If you hear a “but…” coming in his rhetoric, you guessed right. He does imagine something better. The Cliff’s Notes version of Wu’s thesis:
— The framers wrote the Bill of Rights in an atmosphere where speech was expensive and rare. The Internet made speech cheap, and human attention rare. Speech-hostile societies like Russia and China have already shown how to capitalize on this “cheap speech” era, eschewing censorship and bans in favor of “flooding” the Internet with pro-government propaganda.
— As a result, those who place faith in the First Amendment to solve speech dilemmas should “admit defeat” and imagine new solutions for repelling foreign propaganda, fake news, and other problems. “In some cases,” Wu writes, “this could mean that the First Amendment must broaden its own reach to encompass new techniques of speech control.” What might that look like? He writes, without irony: “I think the elected branches should be allowed, within reasonable limits, to try returning the country to the kind of media environment that prevailed in the 1950s.”
— More ominously, Wu suggests that in modern times, the government may be more of a bystander to a problem in which private platforms play the largest roles. Therefore, a potential solution (emphasis mine) “boils down to asking whether these platforms should adopt (or be forced to adopt) norms and policies traditionally associated with twentieth-century journalism.”
That last line is what should make speech advocates worry.
‘A Sobering Impact’: Bill De Blasio Wants NYPD Knocking On Doors To Root Out Hateful Behavior
Democratic New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said Thursday he would like to see the New York Police Department knocking on doors in an effort to educate people against hateful conduct.
In response to concerns about anti-Asian sentiment, de Blasio encouraged New Yorkers to report any behavior they saw as anti-Asian or hateful or racist in any way. He went on to suggest that, even if such behavior was not necessarily criminal, a visit from the NYPD or another city agency might have a “sobering impact” on people and cause them to reconsider such behavior in the future.

Fauci Warns States to Keep Restrictions or July 4th Could Be Cancelled.
On Sunday, Dr. Anthony Fauci warned that the Biden Administration’s prediction that coronavirus vaccines can lead to relative normalcy by July Fourth is “quite reasonable” —assuming states don’t pull back public safety measures, Politico reported.
“If you wait just a bit longer to give the vaccine program the chance to increase the protection in the community, then it makes pulling back much less risky,” said Fauci, on “Fox News Sunday.” “But if you do it prematurely there really is a danger of triggering another surge.”
I and others think the comparison is closer to today’s commie China with its fascist corporatism than Hungary was back then, but whatever..
Comment O’ The Day:
“The people who told us that the election of Donald Trump would usher in 1984 are busily ushering in 1984.” Dr. Maturin
The culture curators want to think for you.
Sandor Mecs was a child when his family lived in the town of Szentendre, Hungary. Today, it is a picturesque town 20 miles north of Budapest that is lined with winding cobblestone streets, colorful centuries-old homes, cottages, and churches and is a tourism center with its flourishing museums, charm, and proximity to the capital.
While the picturesque footprint was the same for Mecs and his family and thousands of other Hungarians 60 years ago, life in post-World War II Hungary was anything but ideal if you were a free thinker.
“At that time, we had become a Stalinized state of the Soviet Union, and Matyas Rakosi ruled the country for over seven years as a dictator who demanded no one strayed from the collective approved government thought,” he said.
If you did, you disappeared.
“Everything in government was militarized, and everything in our culture, the arts, the media, where you shopped, was all part of the government,” he explained.
There was no freedom of thought. You believed what the government and, by default, culture and new organizations told you to believe.
The government force was so oppressive that it established a secret police called the AVH, or the Allamvedelmi Hatosag, to make sure everyone thought the same and that no one dissented from whatever the government believed. Mecs explained, “My parents and family members lived in fear of people overhearing a conversation that might deviate from accepted thought.”
He said his father understood that after the doomed Hungarian Revolution of 1956 failed, it was time to flee the family’s home country.
“You have to understand when you leave, you leave everything behind, whether it is family members, belongings, or the roof over your head,” he said. “A week after the revolution, my dad realized we’ve got to get out of here, and we literally snuck across the border with Austria in the dead of night.”
Back then, there were people who, for money, would get you safely across the border. “They were taking groups of maybe 20 people at a time and getting them past the barbed wire. One of the border guards actually caught the group that we were in when a very familiar face caught his eye,” he said.
It was the guard’s sister, “so he let us go,” he said.
Within a short period, over 200,000 men, women, and children escaped their homeland, much like the Mecs family did. It was an exodus and scattered much of the educated and intellectual class. The only people who could afford to leave managed to spread globally, with many of them going to the United States and the United Kingdom.
Many intellectuals in the U.S. toss around the word “dictatorship” or “dictator” about political parties they don’t like frequently, and with such abandon, it is now deemed normal in some circles to use the terms without irony, primarily when referring to the Republican Party.
In their zeal to dismantle conservatism, they miss the true dictator in our country. They are our cultural curators. The corporations, much of the media, the entertainment industry, major league sports organizations, academia, and Silicon Valley all demand that we fall in line with how they think. They want to approve of how we speak, what books we read, what movies we watch, what words we use, who we support politically, how we educate our children, and what parts of history are acceptable to teach.
Many of these entities have gone from trying to appeal to a wide range of customers based on the products they sell or services they offer into social justice organizations, far removed from their core missions and their consumers.
When one of them deems something unacceptable in its version of the world, many others follow suit, often crumbling to their younger employees’ demands. The latter has been given enough power in this age of corporate social justice to destroy the very place they work if that corporation does not bend to their demands.
The Secretary of Defense overruled the head of the National Guard and plans to keep Guard troops stationed in D.C.
What’s Scarier? Biden’s Totalitarian Promises, or the Number of Americans Who Willingly Acquiesce?
Joe Biden’s Wuhan Flu anniversary speech was insulting and disturbing in many ways. He started out by lying about President Trump’s actions at the beginning of the pandemic, then went through a list of everything we lost during these draconian lockdowns – attempting to convince us that he sympathizes with what we’ve lost and that We’re All In This Together™.
Watching Biden lie to us and hearing him insult us is annoying and, frankly, boring at this point – because we expect it. But in this speech Biden went far beyond annoying and straight onto a terrifying new path, the path of complete government control.
He led into his plans with a bit of communistic propaganda by speaking to a “common purpose” our hands must turn to before informing us that he’s “using every power [he] has as POTUS to put us on a war footing.” Symbolism?
Knowing that people expect that, since the number of positive China virus cases have plummeted and that many states are well on their way to fully vaccinating their high-risk populations, the country will fully open soon and that masks and social distancing rules will be a thing of the past, Biden sought to manage expectations. As long as there’s still a silent, deadly enemy circulating (spoiler alert: there always will be), and as long as Biden can reassure people that he’s keeping them safe by Following The Science ©, he can keep complete control of our lives. Biden has no interest in “beating” the virus any time soon, it seems:
In the coming weeks we will issue further guidance on what you can and cannot do once fully vaccinated, to lessen the confusion, to keep people safe, and to encourage more people to get vaccinated.
To “encourage” people to get the vaccination? Think about that for a second. What will vaccinated people be able to do that the unvaccinated will not? Will people need to show papers or have a badge showing their vaccination status in order to have full freedom? Oh, hell no. Katie Pavlich, editor of our sister site Townhall, nailed it:
“We will issue guidance on what you can and cannot do when fully vaccinated” -Joe Biden
Biden isn’t a moderate, he’s a big government tyrant.
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) March 12, 2021
To defeat woke tyrants, the rest of us must treat them like the monsters they are
Most Americans hate woke politics — and most minorities don’t share “woke” priorities. Indeed, according to pollster David Shor, woke excesses are causing black voters to flee the Democratic Party. Despite endless charges of “racism,” former President Donald Trump took the biggest share of minority voters of any Republican in my lifetime.
Woke tyrants ride high, even so; according to a Cato/YouGov poll, 62 percent of Americans self-censor their political expression. Only a tiny minority of consumers care about Mr. Potato Head’s toxic masculinity, about “Aunt Jemima” as a brand or about the #MeToo aggressions of Pepé Le Pew. Yet corporations, universities and governments rush to placate that minuscule slice of the population, trashing large chunks of our culture in the process.
It’s happening not because anybody voted for it, but because a small but determined and vicious minority is bullying people to go along, relying on cowardice and groupthink to achieve ends that could never happen via majority vote: How do you think Dr. Seuss would have done in a referendum?
How does this happen? To some degree, the woke abuse the good nature of Americans. For the most part, Americans want their fellow citizens to be happy. If they hear something makes others unhappy, they generously look to change things.
BLUF:
The constant push for fascism from our corrupt, lickspittle media, such as the Los Angeles Times cited above, only exacerbates the situation. Without the media-driven madness surrounding the Wuhan flu, few ever would have noticed it. Without the airy-fairy theory of “global warming,” most sane people would have gone about their lives completely unaffected by the madness of others.
And, really, who would buy an electric car, except as a virtue-signalling status symbol? Only at gunpoint, I suspect.
On the Left, an Era of Fascist Magical Thinking.
The genius of the Left’s success in achieving their favored policy positions is found in their favorite tactic: first, posit a counter-factual [fancy speak for a bald faced lie ed.] and, second, act on it as if it were true — with maximum governmental force.
Examples abound: that men can transform themselves into biological women by simply wishing it to happen, and then can be protected — nay, favored — by a raft of new laws designed for their “protection.” That the real women are offtimes physically damaged by this malignant fantasy matters not one bit. After all, “rights” are more important that reality.
The mass hysteria over the nearly non-existent threat of Covid-19 to the great mass of humanity is another. Yes, Covid has been hell on morbidly obese people over the age of 85 (just about any illness is), but to shut down the world’s economies and, worse, political freedoms in order to protect “the most vulnerable among us” (in one of the Left’s favorite simpering phrases), was not only insane, it was evil.
The Stand Down Order Raises Questions
In early February, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin issued a stand-down order of sixty days for all of the armed forces. Such an order will enable military officers to make sure there are no extremists in their units.
This stand-down order was issued in response to the January 6 Capitol riot, during which military veterans and even active-duty military personnel were said to have participated in the violence.
Meanwhile, National Guard units are still being deployed in Washington, D.C. to thwart any potential violence, and will be leaving sometime in March. Ironically, some liberals have speculated that these units might have extremists among their ranks. In addition, extra security measures (e.g. concrete walls, fencing) have been taken, particularly for Inauguration Day.
So how exactly will the military determine if there are any extremists within their ranks? Obviously, background checks are conducted on all individuals who want to join the military, so that would eliminate any chances of extremists serving in the armed forces.
Is this stand-down order necessary, or is it a knee-jerk reaction to the events of January 6?
It is apparent that liberals have not always cared much for the military,
considering all the cutbacks that they have imposed or proposed over the years.
And given the fallout from the Capitol riot, some of them are afraid of a possible coup, perhaps even one similar to that depicted in the film Seven Days in May, or possibly military coups that have taken place in other countries.
But liberals are probably concerned about an insurrection from the American people themselves, which is why Parler has been shut down and criticism of liberals on social media can result in one’s posts being removed, or possibly their account(s) being suspended or even terminated.
Needless to say, liberals are apparently not going to tolerate any type of criticism or questioning of their policies. Such intolerance is evident when Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez advocated the “reprograming” of those she considers to be white supremacist or extremist.
If her idea of reprograming is adopted, I wonder if the government will start off by implementing it on all military personnel.
And how exactly will such reprograming be implementing? Re-education camps (similar to those in communist nations)? Brainwashing? Indoctrination? Mind- control?
Is it clear that liberals do not trust the American people, given their contempt for America. And that is why they need to be voted out, starting with the 2022 elections.
The best interpretation of “woke” is as a synonym for “crazy, stupid, and vicious”.
When Will the Woke Go Full Caligula?
The other day, I was scrolling through Twitter when I happened upon this particular tweet, directed against the former New York Times opinion editor Bari Weiss:
“Imagine if @bariweiss offered 10% of the defense she gives white supremacy to all the antifascist, Jewish-allied, Black and brown women of color she has made a career putting in danger,” it said. “NYT staff of color felt so unsafe around her that she had to resign.”
Something about this tweet struck me instantly: it was completely insane. No thinking person can hold that Weiss is anything but a political moderate with no sympathies whatsoever for white supremacism and neither the power nor the desire to harm anyone.
I also understood, however, the likely motivation behind the attack: Weiss has recently emerged as a strident voice against cancel culture and the amorphous but potent phenomenon known as “Woke.”
Democrats Pressure TV Carriers to Stop Providing Newsmax, Fox News, OANN
Californi Democrat Reps. Anna Eshoo and Jerry McNerney sent a letter to major TV carriers, implying they help the “spread of misinformation” since they provide Newsmax, Fox News, and OANN.
“We are concerned about the role AT&T plays in disseminating misinformation to millions on U-verse, DirecTV, and AT&T TV subscribers, and we write to you today to request additional information about what actions AT&T is taking to address these issues,” they wrote in the letter to AT&T.
They sent the same letter to Roku, Comcast, Verizon, Amazon, Dish Network, Cox, Hulu, and others.
Eshoo and McNerney demanded the providers answer these questions by March 8:
1. What moral or ethical principles (including those related to journalistic integrity, violence, medical information, and public health) do you apply in deciding which channels to carry or when to take adverse actions against a channel?
2. Do you require, through contracts or otherwise, that the channels you carry abide by any content guidelines? If so, please provide a copy of the guidelines.
3. How many of your subscribers tuned in to Fox News, Newsmax, and OANN on U-verse, DirecTV, and AT&T TV for each of the four weeks preceding the November 3, 2020 elections and the January 6, 2021 attacks on the Capitol? Please specify the number of subscribers that tuned in to each channel.
4. What steps did you take prior to, on, and following the November 3, 2020 elections and the January 6, 2021 attacks to monitor, respond to, and reduce the spread of disinformation, including encouragement or incitement of violence by channels your company disseminates to millions of Americans? Please describe each step that you took and when it was taken.
5. Have you taken any adverse actions against a channel, including Fox News, Newsmax, and OANN, for using your platform to disseminate disinformation related directly or indirectly to the November 3, 2020 elections, the January 6, 2021 Capitol insurrection, or COVID-19 misinformation? If yes, please describe each action, when it was taken, and the parties involved.
6. Have you ever taken any actions against a channel for using your platform to disseminate any disinformation? If yes, please describe each action and when it was taken.
7. Are you planning to continue carrying Fox News, Newsmax, and OANN on U-verse, DirecTV, and AT&T TV both now and beyond any contract renewal date? If so, why?
Newsmax responded:
“The House Democrats’ attack on free speech and basic First Amendment rights should send chills down the spines of all Americans. Newsmax reported fairly and accurately on allegations and claims made by both sides during the recent election contest. We did not see that same balanced coverage when CNN and MSNBC pushed for years the Russian collusion hoax, airing numerous claims and interviews with Democrat leaders that turned out to be patently false.”
Yes, where were these Democrats when MSNBC and CNN did nothing but push the Russian collusion hoax for four years? How come they allowed failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to whine about President Donald Trump stealing the election from her?
National Guard May Occupy Washington D.C. Through The Fall
As of Monday, about 6,000 troops remain in Washington D.C. occupying the nation’s capital. According to Fox News, internal government communications show the occupation may last through the fall, as opposed to the currently public March end date.
According to one internal email shared with Fox News, the Pentagon’s assistant secretary of defense, Robert Salesses, wrote:
If it’s not possible to sustain at the current level the [National Guard] personnel, we need to establish the number of [National Guard] personnel ([D.C. National Guard] and out-of-state] we can sustain for an extended period – at least through Fall 2021 – and understand additional options for providing DoD support, to include use of reserve personnel, as well as active component.
The military occupation took its grip on Washington in response to the January riot when a horde of Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol building. No such show of military force was deployed in the aftermath of the militant Black Lives Matter riots that shook the city for days.
Reminder that our nation's capital looked like this at the beginning of the summer and most Democrats/media shrugged it off as mostly peaceful https://t.co/1zvsLVRuQc

CBS Declares: You’ll Need a COVID ‘Vaccination Passport’ To Travel by Summer 2021
Without a mention of privacy rights the mainstream media appears to be all in for making you ‘show your papers’.
As the United States prepares to open back up after the unnecessarily long COVID lockdowns, the mainstream media is shaping the narrative that “vaccination passports” will not only be required for travel, but that they will arrive as a necessity by this summer.
CBS News travel editor, Peter Greenberg, almost appeared gleeful when he predicted two things: that travel – both domestic and international – would most likely return this summer, and that there would be a prerequisite to being able to travel.
Greenberg stated bluntly that in order to travel you will most likely need proof that you’ve been vaccinated for COVID. Vaccination passports, he said, will be the new standard in travel.
“It will be required,” Greenberg said. “The real question is what technology will be available to create a universally acceptable and universally readable document that can’t be forged.”
It’s a long one folks.
Lawyer Robert F. Kennedy Jr., son of Robert F. Kennedy and the nephew of former U.S. president John F. Kennedy, has been banned from Facebook owned Instagram just days after he penned a comprehensive account of Bill Gates’ attempt to monopolise and dominate global food production and public health programs………….
Bill Gates and Neo-Feudalism: A Closer Look at Farmer Bill
Bill Gates has quietly made himself the largest owner of farmland in the United States. For a man obsessed with monopoly control, the opportunity to also dominate food production must seem irresistible.
“Gates has a Napoleonic concept of himself, an appetite that derives from power and unalloyed success, with no leavening hard experience, no reverses.” — Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson, presiding judge in the Gates/Microsoft antitrust-fraud case
The global lockdowns that Bill Gates helped orchestrate and cheerlead have bankrupted more than 100,000 businesses in the U.S. alone and plunged a billion people into poverty and deadly food insecurity that, among other devastating harms, kill 10,000 African children monthly — while increasing Gates’ wealth by $20 billion. His $133 billion fortune makes him the world’s fourth wealthiest man.
Gates has been using that newfound cash to expand his power over global populations by buying devalued assets at fire-sale prices and maneuvering for monopoly control over public health, privatizing prisons, online education and global communications while promoting digital currencies, high tech surveillance, data harvesting systems and artificial intelligence.
For a man obsessed with monopoly control, the opportunity to also dominate food production must seem irresistible.
Unite and Heal With Show Trials and Fascist Purges.
Joe Biden has called for “unity” and “healing”. And nobody knows as much about healing as Joe whose wife has a doctorate in education from the university that hosts his Biden Institute and the Beau Biden Foundation which was charging $3K for lessons on preventing online child sex grooming even as Hunter’s laptop with the Foundation’s sticker allegedly showed him doing it.
Except maybe Joe’s brother who took out $650,000 in personal loans from a company that bankrupted local hospitals while trading on his brother’s name and connections to his campaign.
“I think it has to happen,” Biden said, mandating the show impeachment trial of his predecessor.
Once upon a time, impeachments were rare things. These days, Democrats aren’t considered truly progressive if they don’t impeach a Republican president twice in one term. President Trump is back in Florida, but that won’t stop the Democrats from impeaching him anyway before they move on to impeaching the presidents like Washington and Lincoln whose statues their insurrectionist mobs were toppling all summer and fall back when insurrection was still cool.
When asked how he defines unity, Joe Biden, with the help of three teleprompters and a small staff communicating with him through his earpiece and a series of frantic signals and hoots, explained that, “If you pass a piece of legislation that breaks down on party lines but it get passed, it doesn’t means there wasn’t unity — it just means it wasn’t bipartisan.”
Like most ideas that travel the circuitous route between his handlers, his brain, and his mouth, it may be impossible to understand what Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. said, but it’s pretty clear what the senile hack ruling a city under the shadow of military occupation and political terror meant.
Unity is when Democrats get their way. Unity is when no one opposes them. Unity is when they terrorize their political opposition into submitting and keeping their mouths shut.
Or as Speaker Pelosi put it, “I don’t think it’s very unifying to say, ‘Oh, let’s just forget it and move on.’ That’s not how you unify.”
How do you unify? The same way every great democratic people’s regime did from France to Russia to China to San Francisco — with show trials and purges of the enemies of the people.
“This is an issue that all Democrats, Republicans, independents, Libertarians should be extremely concerned about, especially because we don’t have to guess about where this goes or how this ends. What characteristics are we looking for as we are building this profile of a potential extremist, what are we talking about? Religious extremists, are we talking about Christians, evangelical Christians, what is a religious extremist? Is it somebody who is pro-life? [The proposed legislation could create] a very dangerous undermining of our civil liberties, our freedoms in our Constitution, and a targeting of almost half of the country.”—Tulsi Gabbard, former Congresswoman
This is how it begins.
THE BILL OF RIGHTS IS AN OBJECTION TO ‘GOVERNMENTAL AUTHORITY’!
Biden DHS Issues Domestic Terror Alert Warning of ‘Objections’ to ‘Governmental Authority.’
As President Joe Biden set a new record for executive orders in his first few days in office, and as former CIA Director John Brennan compared libertarians to ISIS-style “insurgencies,” the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a domestic terrorism bulletin warning about “ideologically-motivated violent extremists with objections to the exercise of governmental authority.”
It stands to reason that federal law-enforcement agencies may be on edge after the breach of the Capitol on January 6, but Biden’s inauguration went off without a hitch. Threats may indeed exist, but the DHS domestic terrorism bulletin is chilling, considering recent moves that suggest Democrats are planning a new domestic “War on Terror” targeting conservatives.
Well, gun control has always had racism as its major component, so……..
Gun Control Group Has a Racist Take on Black and Brown Gun Owners
The Violence Policy Center (VPC) on Monday released a 39-page report about the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the gun industry as a whole. The gun control group takes issue with the NSSF and NRA “targeting” blacks and Latinos as first-time gun owners.
