Since Joe Is Faltering – Jill Biden Is Now Assigned to Promote the Massive COVID ‘Stimulus’ Bill

We reported earlier today that after falling three times going up the stairs to Airforce One, Joe Biden is taking the weekend off:

Is Joe Biden Losing His Grip? Aging President Takes Another Weekend Off After Friday Triple Fall

Now it’s being reported that his wife, Jill Biden, is hitting the road in his place as the key messenger of the trillion-dollar COVID ‘stimulus’ which gives billions to Democrat pet projects but less than a few thousand dollars to Americans whose jobs and livelihoods were destroyed by political mandates after the China coronavirus hit:

Kamala Harris:
1st Female Vice President
1st ‘Person of Color’ (Jamaican/Asian Indian) Vice President
Not the 1st politician with crap-for-brains though.

If the people of the U.S. are all that racist and sexist, where would she be if we weren’t?

VP Kamala Harris: ‘Racism Is Real in America, and It Has Always Been’

Vice President Kamala Harris condemned the U.S. as racist, xenophobic, and sexist in remarks at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she and President Joe Biden traveled Friday to show solidarity with the Asian American community.

Eight people were murdered this week at three massage parlors in Atlanta. Six of the victims were Asian.

Though police said that there was no evidence of a racial motive, advocates have claimed that the event is only the latest in a wave of anti-Asian-American hate crimes.

Democrats have also blamed former President Donald Trump, who took a tough stance against China and often referred to the coronavirus as the “China virus” (though he also praised and defended Asian-Americans.)

In her remarks, Harris hinted that Trump was to blame for attacks on Asian Americans: “For the last year, we’ve had people in positions of incredible power scapegoating Asian Americans, people with the biggest pulpits, spreading this kind of hate.”

When she was running for president, Harris touted herself as the first future Asian American president. Her mother is Indian-American.

President Biden called on Congress to pass the “COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act,” which would punish any crime motivated by “the actual or perceived relationship to the spread of COVID–19 of any person” due to the “race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or disability of any person.” Biden also told Americans that “we have to change our hearts.” The bill was proposed last year by Rep. Grace Meng (D-NY), but failed to advance in the House.

Biden went on to talk about the country’s progress in the coronavirus pandemic, and to attack Republican efforts at election reform, saying that Georgia’s voters “helped save our democracy” in 2020. Republicans have cited voting irregularities in the state in 2020 as reason to tighten rules against potential fraud — which Democrats call an attack on voting rights.

I’ll take Military Guilt Sessions Not Going As Planned for $500, Alex.

Remember all those ‘mostly peaceful’ ‘racial injustice protests riots, with all the looting, burning and murders? Yeah, those.

Some US troops view Capitol riots, racial protests equally, worrying Pentagon leaders.

During military training sessions to address extremism in the ranks, some service members have challenged why the Pentagon is not treating the violence during racial injustice protests last summer as equal to the deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol.

That the two events are viewed as equivalent by some troops has caught the Pentagon’s attention in its effort to educate service members that extremist views and activity — on either side of the political spectrum — go against the oath they took when they joined the military, the top enlisted leader told reporters on Thursday.

“This is coming from every echelon that we’re talking to,” said Ramón Colón-López, the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. “Some people may think that, ‘all right, so the events of 6 January happened. How come you’re not looking at the situation that was going on in Seattle prior to that?’”

Joe Biden Shares a Farcical Story About Vladimir Putin, and It Sounds Kinda Familiar

Joe Biden likes to tell wild, farcical stories that make him seem like a much tougher figure than he is. It’s kind of his thing, and it’s only gotten worse as his obvious mental decline has accelerated. I suppose his memory isn’t what it used to be, and that means he has less of a filter.

During Biden’s recent interview with George Stephanopoulos, he decided to share another likely tall tale. This one revolved around Vladimir Putin, one of the favorite foils of the president. And while history dictates that Biden has never been much of a match for the Russian tyrant, he wants you to think otherwise so you get this.

Go ahead and file this under things that didn’t happen. Putin is a bad guy, but he’s not a cartoon character. There’s also no way Biden would have kept this story in the closet until now (he claims the exchange happened in 2011). The current White House resident would have been bragging about it the day it happened if it had actually happened. That’s his style. He’s a big-talking draft dodger who wears aviators and bomber jackets. Biden’s foremost desire in life is to appear to be the pinnacle of manliness when he’s clearly not. That’s how you get him threatening to beat up Donald Trump multiple times during the 2020 campaign.

Let’s also remember that Biden, while serving in the Obama administration, mocked the idea that Russia was even a threat. Does this sound like a guy who was staring deeply into Putin’s eyes to access his lack of a soul?

Fauci Warns States to Keep Restrictions or July 4th Could Be Cancelled.

On Sunday, Dr. Anthony Fauci warned that the Biden Administration’s prediction that coronavirus vaccines can lead to relative normalcy by July Fourth is “quite reasonable” —assuming states don’t pull back public safety measures, Politico reported.

“If you wait just a bit longer to give the vaccine program the chance to increase the protection in the community, then it makes pulling back much less risky,” said Fauci, on “Fox News Sunday.” “But if you do it prematurely there really is a danger of triggering another surge.”

This comes from the medieval superstition, where a thing, an inanimate object had moral agency and could be held guilty of a crime.
This was the ‘Deodand’ laws

Giving agency to inanimate objects

Have you noticed how the media constantly says things like ‘The Pandemic’ has wreaked havoc on the economy ‘The Pandemic’ is causing a rise in suicides and drug use ‘The Pandemic’ has cost people their jobs.

It’s the same thing they do with gun violence. Guns are the agent, rather than the wielders of said weapon.

In this case, The Pandemic is being touted as the agent, not the people who implemented horrible policies. Not the people who consistently lie and change the goalposts. Not the people, who now think that they give us our freedoms, not God and not as guarded by the Constitution.

There is no responsibility and no accountability for these people. They are able to hide behind The Pandemic as the grubby little people behind the curtain.

ETA: They are also setting the conversation… at this point in time, who really cares about a rise in positive tests for the Wuhan Virus?? Are people dying? Are they needing additional care?? The answer to both should be ‘no’. And the numbers here in the US bear that out.

There are a number of treatments and such out there to alleviate symptoms and doctors should know how to deal with this.

So truly, who gives a rat’s half-eaten ass about the number of cases if those cases aren’t causing any more harm than any number of other ailments? It’s now one more thing that is endemic and we deal with it.

They have proven that lockdowns and masking don’t do anything except hurt people. But that’s now the go-to because control. Governments around the world are showing themselves to be insane.

The Pentagon’s Fight With Tucker Carlson Proves It Doesn’t Even Exist To Win Wars Anymore

Tucker Carlson may have never served in the armed forces, but he’s still decisively winning a PR war against the U.S. military. That shouldn’t surprise anyone, of course. The U.S. military loses most of the wars it fights these days.

During America’s long golden age as a country, the military typically abstained from politics and won wars. But in the decaying Globalist American Empire, the military plays a very different role. Protecting America and winning conflicts isn’t the military’s goal at all. Instead, the armed forces have become a skinsuit. This once-great institution has been repurposed into a vehicle for globalist and left-wing domestic political goals.

The clash between Carlson and the DoD began on Monday. In remarks delivered for the Communist holiday of International Women’s Day, Biden boasted of how he and President Obama had worked to make the military a fully gender-neutral body:

I’m incredibly proud that in 2015, under the Obama-Biden administration, we took the final steps to open up all positions in the military to anyone qualified to serve in them. The women who join today’s military aren’t told “no” when they apply to fly fighter jets or attack helicopters just because of their gender. They aren’t told “no” when they want to apply to Ranger School or infantry officer basic training. [White House]

Biden bragged that it is easier than ever for pregnant women, and women who care about their appearance, to serve in the armed forces.

We’re making good progress designing body armor that fits women properly; tailoring combat uniforms for women; creating maternity flight suits; updating — updating requirements for their hairstyles.

And Biden said, overtly, that his administration would be fighting to change the military to make it more feminine, a place where a woman trying to become a general is as easy to understand as a woman becoming a teacher or a nurse.

And some of it is going to take — and — you know, an intensity of purpose and mission to really change the culture and habits that cause women to leave the military: That women are — making sure more diverse candidates are considering — being considered for career-advancing opportunities at every single level. That women aren’t penalized in their careers for having children. That women aren’t just token members, but integral parts throughout all branches and all divisions.

Nothing Carlson said is insane, or even particularly notable. What’s notable is the shrill, borderline ridiculous response from the once-apolitical Defense establishment.

That’s not a screencap from DNC, or Slate, or the Center for American Progress. That’s a screencap from Defense.gov, an official website of the American military. It should be disturbing to anybody who cares about the military’s overall efficacy. How can anyone feel confidence in a military that writes headlines about it “smiting” TV talking heads who “dissed” it?

President Joe Biden has once again delivered a speech to reporters and then given them his back without taking a single question.

One can hear the almost palpable disappointment in the voice of the announcer [Lester Holt] as Biden slowly turns around and walks away and he says, “I don’t think the president is gonna take any questions.”

Biden’s Friday speech was all about how they are planning to revamp the economy to go after rich people and make them pay more taxes:

Bill expanding New Mexico’s ‘red-flag’ gun law fizzles

A controversial bill to expand New Mexico’s so-called red-flag gun law appears to be a victim of more pressing priorities in this year’s 60-day legislative session.

“For all intents and purposes, it’s gone, unless something really radical changes,” one of the sponsors, Rep. Daymon Ely, D-Corrales, said Wednesday. “But there are just too many other priorities this time.”

Ely said he hopes to bring the measure back during the Legislature’s 30-day legislative session next year.

“It’s a calendar management problem,” he said of the bill’s likely demise this year.

House Bill 193 sought to amend New Mexico’s Extreme Risk Firearm Protection Order Act by adding law enforcement officers to the list of people who could seek a court order to temporarily take firearms from a person considered a threat, among other changes.

Under current law, police officers may only seek a court order if it is requested by a family member, a school official, an employer or someone who has had a “continuing personal relationship” with a person considered a threat to themselves or others. The change would allow an officer to seek a court order based on his or her own observations, “absent receipt of credible information from a reporting party.”

Another one of the idiotic “I support the Second Amendment, But……”  crowd
There’s a very quick and simple answer for morons like this.
One name, Jack Wilson , end of discussion.
If they continue with their drivel, you tell them since facts have shown them to be in error, what’s the real reason they want to restrict the right to keep and bear arms?

Human Condition: Guns in church? What would Jesus carry?

I like guns — always have. I support the Second Amendment, and hope I’ll always have the right to own a gun.

But I’m concerned that our country is reverting to its Wild West days. Heck, even back then some towns had rules in place where you had to surrender your gun at the sheriff’s office before you went into the saloon.

According to Smithsonian magazine, Tombstone, Arizona, had more restrictive gun laws in 1880 than it has today. And that was when Wyatt Earp and his brothers were involved in the famed OK Corral incident.

So, I guess it’s kind of an insult to the Old West to compare them to present-day America.

All this makes me wonder about folks who want to carry guns to church. To church?

Biden’s handlers let him out to play for about 10 minutes today, and I bet they regret it.

Almost Half the United States has Constitutional Carry

Do we see ‘blood running in the streets’ of these states?

No, we don’t.

So these mewling statist elitists are nothing more than wanna-be dictators who see power being taken away from the state and returned to the people, and don’t like it.

Don’t mess with Tennessee’s handgun permit system | Opinion
Public welfare and safety will be jeopardized by pending legislation that would allow the permitless carry of handguns in public.

David Mitchell, Bill Gibbons and David Purkey Guest columnists
David Mitchell served as commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security from 2007-2011. Bill Gibbons served in that capacity from 2011-2016, and David Purkey served from 2016-2019.

Part of the privilege of serving as commissioner was responsibility for overseeing our state’s handgun permit system. We are proud of the permit system Tennessee has developed and maintained. We oppose the part of pending legislation (SB 765/HB 786) that would severely undermine our handgun permit system and ultimately make it meaningless by allowing the permitless carry of handguns in public, both concealed and openly.

Under the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, the citizens of our state have a right to keep and bear arms. However, the U.S. Supreme Court has clearly ruled that state legislatures have the power to regulate the carrying of firearms in the interest of public safety. There is no reasonable debate about the General Assembly’s authority on this issue….

“Under the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, the citizens of our state have a right to keep and bear arms. However,….”

But me no buts, tin horns. What about “….shall not be infringed.” do you not understand? Agreeing with Justice Scalia’s dicta (not part of the ruling, simply his own opinion, included in the decision like an editorial.) simply means you don’t understand SCOTUS decisions and merely agree with his mistaken personal opinion, which has been often considered, was some  weasel wording to get the previous court squish, Justice Kennedy on board.

The California Model: Soft On Violent Firearm Crimes, Hard On Law-Abiding Gun Owners

A frustrating aspect of the modern gun control movement is its seeming abandonment of reason. The same anti-gun politicians that attack the rights of law-abiding gun owners will advocate for more lenient treatment of those who misuse firearms to commit violent crime.

Consider California’s Assembly Bill 1509, which would alter the state’s scheme of sentence enhancements for serious crimes committed with firearms. The legislative counsel’s digest summarized the changes as follows:
Existing law imposes a sentence enhancement in the state prison of 10 years for personally using a firearm in the commission of specified felonies, 20 years for personally and intentionally discharging a firearm in the commission of those felonies, and 25 years to life for personally and intentionally discharging a firearm and causing great bodily injury or death to any other person during the commission of those felonies.

This bill would reduce those enhancements to 1, 2, and 3 years, respectively.

Existing law imposes a sentence enhancement of 5, 6, or 10 years in the state prison for, with intent to inflict great bodily injury or death, discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle in the commission of a felony and inflicting great bodily injury or death in the commission of a felony.

This bill would reduce that enhancement to 1, 2, or 3 years in the state prison.

AB1509 was authored by Assembly member Alex Lee (D-25). The bill was coauthored by Assembly members Wendy Carrillo (D-51), Ash Kalra (D-27), Mark Stone (D-29), and Senator Scott Wiener (D-11).

Assemblywoman Carrillo has been a vocal proponent of further restricting the rights of law-abiding gun owners. On May 17, 2018, Carrillo spoke at a gun control rally in Sacramento, put on, in part, by the Brady Campaign. The lawmaker took to Twitter on February 5, 2019 to boast of meeting Gabrielle Giffords of the eponymous Giffords gun control organization, adding, “California has enacted strict gun laws that can lead the way to a national conversation. We need action. #GunReformNow.”

Similarly, Assemblymember Kalra has pushed for gun control. As a San Jose City councilmember, Kalra proposed an ordinance that would have required gun owners to comply with onerous storage requirements, ammunition sellers to register transactions, and re-victimized gun owners whose firearms were stolen by requiring them to report the theft within 48 hours.

In 2019, Senator Wiener advanced legislation to permanently ban gun shows at Daly City, Calif.’s Cow Palace. On August 31, 2019, the state senator took to Twitter to advocate for gun confiscation and other extreme gun controls, stating,

No more talk on guns

Action only

“I’m happy to take questions if that’s what I’m supposed to do, Nance. Whatever you want me to do.”

Spoken like a real take charge POTUS, right before someone else made the actual decision; To not allow him the opportunity to open wide and insert his foot, again.
