They clutch that necklace and have a case of the vapors over that .50 cal rifle, then completely disregard the guy in the pick-up holding an M60 machinegun right behind it.
You don’t find those at your local gun store, so the stupidity of the people making this piece of propaganda is readily evident.

#1, Gun violence is an issue no one can avoid any longer.
This is why I carry a gun!
#2, Would Lanza have ever come up with this disgusting, perverse courage to walk into that school if he didn’t have an AR-15?
Murphy is attributing an ability to the rifle to have influenced Lanza. This is the old medieval superstition of The Deodand, where a thing, an inanimate object has moral responsibility and the capacity to exert mental and physical control over people.
As we see, there are people who today still believe in crap-for-brains BS, or think they can pander to those who do.
Sen. Chris Murphy: Gun Violence Is An Issue ‘No One Can Avoid Any Longer’
Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy spoke with Boston Public Radio on Friday about his new book that examines what he says is the American failure to address gun violence. Murphy was elected to the U.S. Senate a month before the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012, when 20 children between the ages of 6 and 7, and six adults, were shot dead by Adam Lanza.
“This easy access to weapons of mass destruction is probably the simplest and most accurate explanation of the mass shooting epidemic,” Murphy said. “Would Adam Lanza have ever come up with this disgusting, perverse courage to walk into that school if he didn’t have an AR-15?”……………….

Some Senate Democrats Consider Boycotting SCOTUS Confirmation Hearing
At least two Democrats on the powerful Senate panel that will soon oversee the confirmation hearing for President Donald Trump’s forthcoming Supreme Court nominee remain on the fence about whether they’ll attend the televised meetings.
Senate Judiciary Committee members Chris Coons (D-Del.) and Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) told Newsweek they’re uncertain if they’ll participate in the several days of public hearings expected for mid-October, signaling they may boycott the confirmation process in an apparent snub to Republicans moving at breakneck pace to fill the vacancy on the nation’s highest court before Election Day.
“We’ll see,” Coons said. “My gut inclination is this is the shortest time in American history, the closest to an election—ever—that there’s been a nominee, and we’re given just two weeks to do what should take a month

That is right from the horse’s ass.
Bull. Every time some leftist, proggie opens their mouth and inserts their feet and then gets taken to task for their insults, they again open their pieholes and so often use the ‘it was just a joke‘ excuse that anyone with more than 2 functioning brain cells should realize that they’re lying again. And insulting us again by thinking we’ll believe their BS.

‘Utterly baffling’ Really? Are you kidding me, or do you think we’re stupid?
You introduce -intentionally, or even otherwise – the bug into an elderly populated nursing home environment and you’re ‘baffled’? Now, of the same attention can be paid to the Gubbernor of New York state and the mayor of New York City…………
‘Utterly baffling’: 76 vets die of Covid at soldiers home
They stormed the beaches at Normandy, liberated Nazi concentration camps and fought the Cold War in Korea and Vietnam only to die in their beds from a virus that infiltrated the veteran’s center in western Massachusetts that was their home.
But on Friday the loved ones of the 76 veterans who, starting in March, died from the coronavirus at the Holyoke Soldiers Home, received a measure of belated justice.
Former Superintendent Bennett Walsh, a Marine, and the home’s ousted medical director, Dr. David Clinton, were each charged with five counts of “wantonly or recklessly” causing or permitting bodily harm and five counts of neglect or mistreatment of an older or disabled person, Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healy announced.
“My heart goes out to the families that lost loved ones at the Holyoke Soldiers Home,” Healy said. “They risked their lives from Normandy to the jungles of Vietnam and to know that they died under these circumstances is truly shocking.”
Walsh, 50, and Clinton, 71, are accused of making the “disastrous decision” on March 27 to mix patients already displaying symptoms with healthy patients and accelerate the spread of Covid-19 through the center.
But the charges Healy announced stem specifically from the decision by the pair to place five asymptomatic veterans into what had been a dining area “a few feet apart” from four other vets who already had Covid-19. Continue reading “”
Kamala Harris to Appear Alongside Hanoi Jane.
The event comes one week after Biden hosted a veterans outreach roundtable.
The Biden campaign, which has bombarded President Donald Trump with attacks about his respect for U.S. soldiers, will be campaigning this weekend with Jane Fonda, a celebrity best known for fraternizing with enemy troops during the Vietnam War.
Democratic vice-presidential candidate Kamala Harris is set to join Fonda at a Saturday virtual event held by progressive advocacy group Supermajority. The event—titled “Supercharge: Women All In”—will “bring together thousands of women to laugh, sing, dance, and celebrate women’s political power,” according to the group’s website.
Fonda traveled to North Vietnam in 1972 as part of an anti-war protest that saw her pose for photos with enemy troops on an anti-aircraft gun. The photo sparked outrage among Vietnam veterans, earning her the nickname “Hanoi Jane.” Fonda’s public appearances remain subject to controversy—a group of Ohio veterans called on the actress to donate her $83,000 speaking fee to the families of fallen soldiers ahead of a May appearance at Kent State University. AOC urges city, state tax hikes to fund NYC schools
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is calling for tax hikes to help fund New York City’s cash-strapped schools and child care programs.
“I’m calling on Mayor [Bill] de Blasio and Governor [Andrew] Cuomo to raise revenue to fund universal child-care programs, significantly increase staffing at schools, and fund the infrastructure improvements, including ventilation, that our school buildings need to be safe,” Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said in a statement Wednesday. Wait, What? Biden Just Said Something Absolutely Crazy About COVID Deaths
A day after the Biden campaign announced a lid at 8:30 a.m. and took the whole day off, a well-rested Biden stumbled out of his basement to say something that should truly sound the alarm over the state of Biden’s mental faculties, in case it wasn’t loud enough before.
“It’s estimated that 200 million people will die probably by the time I finish this talk,” claimed the 77-year-old career politician.
What?
I understand the Democrats want to blame the global pandemic that started in China on President Trump, but how exactly are 200 million people going to die, more than half of all Americans, within the few minutes that Biden concluded his speech? Did the Biden team get the candidate’s medication right this morning? Continue reading “”
And it’s not just that. Joe’s own ‘climate plan’ does have the GND in it. So either he’s lying in an attempt to conceal his econuttery, or he’s passed the point he can’t even remember the policies he’s running on.
Biden Interrupts Republican Voter, Tries To Rebut Her Question Before She Finishes It
Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden interrupted a Republican voter trying to ask a question during his CNN town hall Thursday.
Biden started to answer, trying to dispute one of the things she had said before she finished laying our her question……………
According to Biden’s campaign website, Ballay was correct about his climate plan embracing the Green New Deal.
“Biden believes the Green New Deal is a crucial framework for meeting the climate challenges we face. It powerfully captures two basic truths, which are at the core of his plan: (1) the United States urgently needs to embrace greater ambition on an epic scale to meet the scope of this challenge, and (2) our environment and our economy are completely and totally connected,” his website states.
In the day of being able to instantly pull up contradictory evidence, lying through your teeth, apparently believing people are stupid enough to swallow the lie, is in itself stupid. Of course, with Joe, he may simply be going off script……again.

Everyone is puzzled by this. I am not puzzled by this. It is simplicity itself:
I skimmed through the full length vid so you won’t have to. But if you do, you’ll notice that there is not one round of applause as he enters the filled to capacity (/sarc) basketball court from the whole six -6- attendees (there’s more staff, Secret Service and reporters/photogs there than participants), or when it’s over and he starts to walk out. Joe Biden Pitches ‘Harris-Biden Administration’ to Florida Veterans
Former Vice President Joe Biden pitched U.S. military veterans on the notion of a “Harris-Biden administration” on Tuesday afternoon during a campaign swing through Florida.
Biden, who has aroused concerns over his fitness for the presidency in recent weeks, told reporters in Tampa that a White House helmed by himself and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) would work to expand opportunities not only for veterans, but military families as well.
“It’s so much harder for military spouses to find good jobs and build their careers,” the Democrat nominee said. “We have to change that and we’re working on it… for example making it easier to carry your professional credentials with you, from one state to another, when your spouse moves.
“The Harris-Biden administration will relaunch that effort and make it easier for military spouses and veterans meaningful careers, to ensure teachers know how to support military children in the classroom, and to improve support for caregivers and survivors so much more than we do now,” the former vice president added.
It is unclear if Biden misspoke or was having technical issues, as his campaign has occasionally resorted to using teleprompters for public events.
Such language has led some, most notably on the right, to suggest the Biden campaign is deliberately pitching Harris as the dominant player on the Democrat ticket.
Biden himself has indulged such speculation by asserting that the major reason he picked Harris is because she is “ready to lead on day one.”
The Biden campaign did not return requests for comment on this story.
This is how ‘twisted’ the purported logic is of those who 1, don’t like the idea of personal self-defense and 2, when guns are involved, their mind goes blank in a spasm of ‘Guns are BAAAAD!‘. And being a former law clerk of a noted proggie, leftist anti-gun Supreme Court Justice seals the deal, his head full of mush being better used as a hat rack when it comes to propounding on anything to do with individual rights, especially RKBA.
I’m not going to waste my time, or yours, trying to fisk this crap-for-brains piece of opinionated garbage. Any of the readers I know are more than intelligent enough to detect the fallacies and mistakes (purposeful or otherwise) on their own that this thoroughly indoctrinated ‘Harvard professor’ made in this propaganda piece.
The purpose of this post being to – again – display the generations of people who are teaching indoctrinating our children in the colleges and universities these days.
How Guns Twist the Logic of Self-Defense Laws
You’d think it would be easy to determine whether Kyle Rittenhouse can successfully plead self-defense after killing two people and injuring a third during protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Turns out that it’s actually pretty complex. Here’s why: When gun rights get involved, the law tends to depart radically from common sense. Continue reading “”

Parental consent no longer required in non-violent juvenile offender program, sheriff says
TAMPA, Fla. – A program in Hillsborough meant to help young, non-violent offenders remain out of jail, will now include all misdemeanor juvenile offenses, and a parental consent is no longer required.
During a press conference, Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister announced the following changes to the Juvenile Arrest Avoidance Program:
- All misdemeanor juvenile offenses are now eligible for a civil citation, under JAAP
- Parental consent is also no longer required for eligibility
- Deputies are required to discuss other options like JAAP for arrests under the age of 12
“Previously, children were unable to participate because we were unable to reach their parent,” Chronister explained. “This change allows all children an opportunity afforded by this program.” Continue reading “”

Biden: Oh, never mind about that national mask mandate too.
The primaries are behind us and we’re well into the season of candidates attempting to shove everything they said up until the conventions down the memory hole and replace those statements with new positions more salable to voters in swing states. Uncle Joe has been on a roll in this department lately, dragging Kamala Harris with him on this field trip into revisionist history. The latest example came to us this week in the form of a “reconsideration” of Biden’s previous promise to institute a national face mask mandate if elected. (As long as “the science” warranted it, of course.)
So is Sleepy Joe Biden still preparing to send out the brute squad and make sure every American is wearing a mask next year? Perish the thought! He never really intended any such thing because there are obvious “constitutional questions” about such a dictate. (NY Post) Continue reading “”
DAN RATHER TRIES A VARIATION ON “FAKE BUT ACCURATE”
Jeffrey Goldberg’s claim that President Trump disparaged American soldiers who died in Normandy is collapsing. As we have noted, John Bolton, no friend of Trump, was present when the president allegedly made the comment. Bolton says it didn’t happen.
Similarly, former Deputy White House Chief of Staff Zach Fuentes, who was also in the room, denies that Trump made the remarks attributed to him. He says:
I did not hear POTUS call anyone losers when I told him about the weather [in France]. Honestly, do you think General Kelly would have stood by and let anyone call fallen Marines losers?
Of course not. Fuentes, by the way, is unhappy with Trump over his treatment of Gen. Kelly. Thus, Fuentes has no incentive to defend Trump in this matter, other than regard for the truth.
Dan Rather inadvertently provides further evidence that Goldberg’s claim is falling apart. Earlier, as we noted, Rather tweeted that the story had seemingly been “confirmed” by other sources. Now, Rather is falling back on a variation of “fake but accurate” — the “defense” of Rather’s 2004 story about George W. Bush’s military service.
“Whether [Trump] said it or not, it is believable,” Rather told callers to a show he was hosting. Later, Rather cited the “terrible things” Trump said about Senator John McCain.
But Trump had a beef with McCain, whom he regarded as a rival and then a foe. Trump often disparages rivals and foes. There is no pattern of him disparaging bystanders, much less brave soldiers who have been dead for many decades.
In any case, the standard in journalism shouldn’t be whether a story is believable, but whether it is supported by non-fabricated evidence. Dan Rather was fired because he didn’t honor this distinction.
Clearly, he hasn’t learned his lesson. But then, he has little to lose these days.
“IN THE TRUMP ERA, ONE “INDEPENDENT” INSTITUTION AFTER ANOTHER HAS EXPOSED ITSELF AS FAITHLESS, CORRUPT, AND UTTERLY PARTISAN”
I have previously written, as a long supporter of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), about my concern over how the venerable group has changed under its current leadership, including a departure from its long robust defense of free speech. Recently, the ACLU has abandoned its famed neutrality and has not supported some on the right while supporting those on the left. Now, the ACLU’s Samuel Crankshaw in Kentucky has targeted Transylvania University for admitting Nick Sandmann, who was falsely accused of abusing a Native American activist in front of Lincoln Memorial. (Crankshaw identifies as an ACLU staffer on social media) Despite various media organizations correcting the story and some settling with Sandmann, some in the media have continued to attack him. Yet, it is far more alarming to see an ACLU official rallying people against a young man whose chief offense appears to be that he is publicly (and unapologetically) conservative and pro-life.
Crankshaw went to Facebook to alert people that Sandmann would be attending the college and expressing veiled outrage that the school would admit someone with his opposing views. He warns that this kid is “more dangerous” than figures like Milo Yiannopolous. The “danger” is that a young freshman holds conservative views that are shared by roughly half of this country: Continue reading “”
