Category: The Violence Inherent in The Left
Routh’s son said the suspect is a registered Democrat and hates Trump like “all reasonable people” but is not a violent person.
Son of Would-Be Trump Assassinator Speaks Out
The son of Ryan Wesley Routh, the would-be assassinator who attempted to shoot former President Donald Trump on Sunday at his West Palm Beach Golf Course, dropped bombshell news about his father.
Oran Routh revealed shocking information to the Daily Mail about his father, who is now in the custody of officials after being arrested. Routh’s son said the suspect is a registered Democrat and hates Trump like “all reasonable people” but is not a violent person.
“I don’t like Trump either,” Oran said. “He’s my dad, and all he’s had is a couple of traffic tickets, as far as I know. That’s crazy. I know my dad and love my dad, but that’s nothing like him.”
Oran told the outlet that he didn’t know his father was in Florida, adding that the 58-year-old gunman was previously living in Hawaii with his girlfriend. Routh reported his father had no military experience and had recently traveled to Ukraine to help volunteer after Russia invaded the country.
When asked if his father ever owned a gun, the 35-year-old son said, “Not that I know of.”
The second attempted assassination attempt on Trump in just two months happened after Routh was seen carrying a rifle near the vicinity of the 45th president’s Florida golf course. Trump was on the green when Secret Service agents spotted Routh’s AK-47 through snipers with tripods. They immediately took action. The agents took four shots before the alleged suspect took off and into a car nearby. Local police officials pulled him over on I-95 and arrested him. They also found a scope, two backpacks, and a GoPro camera. Officials said the suspect was between 300 and 500 yards from Trump.
During a press conference, Special Agent Rafael Barros explained that Secret Service agents move alongside Trump, staying one or two holes ahead of him while he plays golf. The incident occurred between the 5th and 6th holes, which is known to be a more “vulnerable” area of the course due to its proximity to the road.

“Nasty” was Trump’s word for Hillary Clinton in 2016. It deserves wider circulation.
Andy Beshear Hopes Somebody Rapes J.D. Vance’s Wife or Daughter.
The Democrat Party is filled with trash people.
That’s not to say every Democrat is trash; just an abnormally large number of them are disgusting, nasty, vile, hateful liars whose fondest wish is to harm people they disagree with.
They want to cancel them, put them in jail, lock them in their homes, shame them for not wearing masks, force them to inject themselves with experimental gene therapies, and…have their family members raped.
And that’s just the party leaders. Look outside at the protesters, and they want to murder Jews.
What a nice group of people.
What the hell is this?
Why is @AndyBeshearKY wishing that a member of my family would get raped?!?
What a disgusting person. https://t.co/11Kp1h92MN

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear is one of these “fine people” to coin a phrase, who, when he drops his mask, reveals himself to be a hateful scumbag of a man.
Donald Trump Just Won
The shooter wasn’t just evil, but stupid
Regular readers of this newsletter, and people who hate my guts, don’t need to be told my opinion of Donald Trump. And speaking as someone who has managed to stay off the Trump Train for the past eight years:
This kicks ass.

The guy almost gets his brains blown out on live TV, and he stands up with blood on his face and pumps his fist in defiance. I think he said, “Fight!” Or maybe some other F-word. Whatever it was, it was awesome.
It may be the most American thing I’ve ever seen with my own eyes.
Whatever you may think of him as a person, or a past and probably future president, Trump showed us who he is in a moment of crisis.
And not a “crisis” like global warming or a Supreme Court ruling or the price of almond milk at Starbucks, but the crisis of actually getting hit in the head by a would-be assassin’s bullet.
Remarkable. My non-MAGA hat is off to him.
I’m glad the assassin missed his target, I’m angry that he killed a bystander, and I look forward to finding out how the hell the Secret Service allowed it to happen.
The shooter wasn’t just evil, but stupid. He just handed the election to the guy he wanted to kill.
How does Trump lose after this?
Combine a small apocalyptic sect with one of its major prophecies being fulfilled, as they saw it, by a law enforcement agency who it is said were looking for headlines to bolster its reputation for an increased budget, and what you wind up with is this.
The Waco Siege: What Happened When the Feds Laid Siege to the Branch Davidian Compound
“The record of the Waco incident documents mistakes. What the record from Waco does not evidence, however, is any improper motive or intent on the part of law enforcement.”
The siege of the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, is an important event in American history because it directly led to one of the biggest terrorist attacks on American soil – the bombing of the Oklahoma City Federal Building. It’s not necessary to defend this act of terrorism to understand why the entire freedom movement of the time was so incensed by it. Indeed, it stood as a symbol of federal overreach and the corruption of the Clinton Administration.
It’s important to separate fact from fiction when it comes to the siege of Waco, just as it is important to do so with the siege of Ruby Ridge or the attack on the American consulate in Benghazi. With every event, it is important to stick to the facts and what can be extrapolated from them to make the strongest argument about what went wrong and why, and what could be done differently in the future.
That just may be the most stupid move made yet….
If they were actually that stupid.
Leftists Threaten to Attack Conservatives at Home, Church Should Trump Win the 2024 Election
Radical Leftists gathered outside the Heritage Foundation to demand a stop to “Project 2025″— the conservative non-profit’s plan for how they want a future Republican president to run the country.
Earlier this week, progressive rally-goers staged a protest, intimidating and threatening conservatives who want former President Trump back in office. Their focus is to demolish conservatives who plan to destroy the Left’s radical agenda that has made the United States unrecognizable.
Activists held signs that read, “Heritage Foundation is toxic to the nation” and “Stop The Coup 2025.” They also hung signs and crime scene tape around the building.
One of the protestors was captured on video threatening to harass staffers at their homes and churches. At the same time, another said accused Project 2025 of “turning the United States into a Christian conservative autocracy, that’s authoritarianism.”
“We need to go find out where they live, where they go to church, who they hang around with, and bird dog they asses,” an activist yelled.
Anne-Christine d’Adesky, leader of “Stop The Coup 2025,” described that the organization is intended as a “big tent” in opposition and that their “Plan B” is to be prepared in case the Republicans win in 2024. Jay W. Walker— a New York-based anti-fascist, or “antifa,” organizer, is also a part of the group.
“We have to embarrass them; that is a tactic,” the activists chanted. “Find out where they live. Find out where their office is!”
“When we disrupt business as usual, they pay attention. Money is their God. When you mess with their money, they will listen to you,” they continued. “What do we gotta do? Shut it down!”

The rally’s coalition includes radical groups such as The Center for Popular Democracy, Human Rights Campaign, CPD Action, Vocal New York, and Rise and Resist.
Stop the Coup 2025 also said that the “goal is to increase the attention mainstream media pays to Project 2025’s goal of dismantling our US system of government, reinforcing white supremacy, erasing the LGBTQ community, women’s rights, labor, immigration, and other rights, and urge Americans to sound the alarm and vote against this dangerous GOP platform in November.”
Jessica Bowman, a northeast Florida-based conservative grassroots activist, told Breitbart News that the “radical left is putting on full display their anxiety for a Trump victory in 2024.” She said that the Left’s provoked coordination and efforts to threaten Trump supporters should concern all Americans.

Election cybersecurity director was a victim of a ‘swatting’ attack in her home.
The director of the Department of Homeland Security’s cybersecurity infrastructure protection agency confirms she was the victim of a dangerous “swatting” attempt late last month. As first reported on January 22 by cybersecurity news outlet, The Record, local police in Arlington County, VA, arrived at Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Director Jen Easterly’s residence around 9pm on December 30 after receiving a 911 call that falsely claimed a shooting had occurred in or near her home.
What is ‘swatting’?
“Swatting” refers to when malicious actors intentionally report nonexistent, often violent crimes at a target’s residence, with the intention of causing an aggressive, potentially harmful police response. The term originates in reference to the SWAT teams most often dispatched to handle the kinds of crimes reported by hoaxers. Although its origins reside in events such as simply calling in false bomb threats, swatting itself has grown in popularity over the years, initially through the online video gaming community. The FBI first referenced the “new phenomenon” as far back as 2008, but tactics have evolved since then to include more sophisticated methods such as hacking Ring cameras and employing “spoofing” technology to appear as though a 911 call is actually coming from a targeted residence. The technical complexity involved in Easterly’s incident is currently unclear.
There’s No Way the Media Is Touching the Latest Trans Mass Shooter Story
Mia had the details this afternoon about the wannabe transgender mass shooter, who was arrested but known to authorities for years due to aberrant and violent behavior. The FBI picked up Elizabeth Ballesteros West, formerly Francisco Frank Paramo, of Cottage Grove, Oregon, for allegedly plotting a mass slaughter of supposed ‘transphobes.’ West also shoved a shogun into the mouth of his father in 1993 and pulled the trigger, though the firearm failed to fire.
There’s ‘guess that party,’ a game that pops up when a Republican gets into ethical or legal trouble, though party affiliation vanishes from the reporting like Houdini when Democrats find themselves in similar circumstances. We’re rehashing another fan favorite for this story: will the media cover it? The answer is hell no.
The LGBT aspect aside, West is a neo-Nazi. As Mia noted, the would-be mass killer was happy to move to Eugene because there was an absence of blacks and Mexicans. West had numerous racist social media posts, along with images of Nazi flags. Just read the insanity:
According to a 23-page affidavit authored by an FBI special agent who specializes in behavioral threat assessment and terrorism-related crimes, the federal law enforcement agency was alerted all the way back on September 26, via an anonymous tip, that West was threatening to carry out a mass shooting at his workplace and accusing coworkers, his apparent targets, of “transphobia.”
In his threat posted to a Facebook “transwoman” support group, West claimed he was being “bullied by trans phobic a**holes” at work. At the “end of my rope” and “left with no alternative,” West indicated that he intended to “go out in a blaze of glory.”
“Well, I wish I had better news to tell but what I’m writing to you right now is the fact that I’m at the end of my rope[.] I’m probably gonna get fired from his job. I’m […] supposed to be called into the office this morning so I wonder what lies are going to spew in order to justify firing me. I’m too old to keep looking for jobs and I’ve had it up to here being bullied by trans phobic a**holes I am left with no alternative. I’ll probably have to go out in a blaze of glory. I’ve been preparing for this moment a long time at least then I’ll be remember I have no family no friends…So there really isn’t any point living anymore? I’m just gonna have to do what I have to do and pray for the gods to forgive me,” West wrote in a post to the Facebook page “TRANS WOMAN SUPPORT GROUP.”[…]
West’s dead boyfriend had owned a Nazi flag. Following his passing, West found the Nazi flag and kept it. West has “mixed feelings” about Nazi sentiments, the FBI affidavit says, is “juxtaposed” on the political climate in Israel, and thinks the Israelis treat Palestinians in the same manner that the Nazis persecuted the Jews during the Holocaust. West is also angry that U.S. immigrants enjoy welfare and food stamps on his tax dollars, yet he is unable to benefit from the same social programs.
In November, the FBI began tracking West’s alarming activity on X’s platform. There, he describes himself as a “Nazi dominatrix from Hell, who is tired of the blackening of America and Europe and ready to stand up to the Black orcs and the Jewish wizards.” Previously, West’s profile picture featured a Nazi flag, and his X biography stated he’s “an older woman trying to find her way.”
Mia noted the interviews the FBI had with West, the long history of disturbing posts, and the research he did to commit suicide—this person was severely mentally ill. You have mental health playing a major factor here, too. Either way you slice it, the media has zero interest in reporting on this story if they hope to weaponize it against Republicans.
I’ll use the lexicon of the PC police here: It seems every mass shooting, including attempts, featuring these individuals who are part of the alternate lifestyle is more insane than the last. Sure, the Left is going to point out that more ‘cisgender’ people have committed mass shootings. The problem is that these same folks have been peddling the narrative that mass shootings are an exclusively white, male, and Republican problem. At times, it’s been framed as some social defect or an illness. We now have multiple transgender mass shootings and like-minded plots being unearthed, and it’s another reminder of how a) authorities seem to know about all the perpetrators, regardless of how they identify, and b) how mental health always seems to be at the forefront of all these shootings.
It’s not a new story, but one that never gets old because the establishment media will never cease protecting the holy grail of liberal narratives.
It's good when the mask slips to reveal the reactionary left fascist writhing underneath.

What We Know About the Iowa School Shooter
The now-deceased suspected gunman who shot at least six victims—killing one, a sixth-grade middle schooler—at a small-town high school in Perry, Iowa, early Thursday morning has been identified by authorities as 17-year-old student Dylan “DJ” Butler.
Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation assistant director Mitch Mortvedt confirmed at an afternoon press conference that Butler “made a number of social media posts in and around the time of the shooting.” Investigators are working to “secure” those pieces of evidence, Mortvedt said. When asked about footage circulating online, Mortvedt said he hadn’t seen the video in question.
According to a since-deactivated TikTok profile that many are claiming belong to Butler, the last TikTok video posted to the page @tooktoomuch featured a selfie taken in what looks like a bathroom stall moments before the shooting took place.
BREAKING: TikTok has scrubbed an account that allegedly belonged to the Perry High School shooting suspect, Dylan Butler.
Luckily, I captured a screen recording of the account before it was taken down.

“[N]ow we wait,” read the clip’s caption as the rock band KMFDM’s song Stray Bullet played in the background. A blue duffle bag sat on the ground. An emoji of the gay Pride flag was featured in the TikTok page’s bio and an image of an anime girl was selected as the profile picture’s avatar. In another TikTok video, the account used the hashtag “genderfluid.”
According to a series of Reddit posts that Butler appears to have authored, he interacted with transgender and “femboy” forums.
When a man shows you who he is, believe him.– Maya Angelou
Among the great weaknesses of the Right is our powerful desire to believe that our opponents are fundamentally just as decent as we are. There’s actually some rationality behind that assumption. If our opponents are not fundamentally decent – that is, if they don’t share our core convictions about good and evil – we have no chance of reasoning with them. As we’re determined to prevail politically with logic and evidence rather than through bloodshed, the assumption is vital to keeping our guns in the closet.
But the evidence is strong that the Left does not agree with our convictions about good and evil. Now and then we get more of it.
Quite recently, Pramila Jayapal sought to deflect discussion from HAMAS’s rapes and other brutalizations of Israeli girls.
From an open HAMAS supporter, the impulse to dismiss their atrocities might be understandable…but giving in to it indicates a missing moral foundation. Either that, or she’s seriously stupid. And yes, I suppose it could be both, though that leaves her tenure in Congress unexplained.
A few days later, a New York University law professor tried to justify those rapes as less evil than Israel’s military response:
Is wartime sexual violence a horrific crime? YES, with no mistake. But sex exceptionalism is also traditionally used to whip up support for entire military campaigns — we see Israel and the U.S. doing this now to justify a prolonged disproportionate air and ground war.
— Heidi Matthews (@Heidi__Matthews) December 5, 2023
It’s difficult to believe someone that morally empty could hold a law professorship at a prominent law school, but this is 2023.
The most illuminating giveaway of all is a few years old. Regard the little video below: a segment from a “debate” over what European policies should be toward the waves of “refugees” flooding Europe:
But what does it really signify that Arbour and Schama regard violent sexual predation as something they can dismiss with a flip remark? Are these persons to whom you would entrust the care of a young girl? Would you be confident that they would protect her from the sort of vermin Mark Steyn cited? Or might their attitude be “Well, different cultures” or perhaps “Hey, these things happen” – ?
A man who’s willing to countenance the sacrifice of women’s and young girls’ bodies to debatable “humanitarian” priorities, or for the sake of some political or economic advantage, or perhaps merely to prevail over an ideological opponent, has embraced evil. Arbour and Schama have shed all pretense to the contrary. They have shown us who they are, and we should believe them.
Good men don’t compromise with evil. They don’t try to reason with evil. They fight evil. They do their utmost to destroy it. The rest is left as an exercise for the reader.
Let’s keep the scoop reporting going. Yesterday, the Feds charged Alexia Willie, a transgender woman for allegedly threatening to shoot up a school, citing the Tennessee school shooter among other things. https://t.co/Ft8l7GMi4G pic.twitter.com/mckht1MfKn

Police Say ‘Terrorist’ Drove Car Into What She Thought Was Jewish School, but Made Ironic Mistake
There’s been a disturbing rise in antisemitism since the start of the Israeli-Hamas war.
We’ve seen the evidence of it from the radical rallies chanting “From the river to the sea” to the ripping down of signs for kidnapped Jewish victims of Hamas. We’ve covered multiple examples here at RedState just over the past couple of days. There were the anti-Israel marchers who stormed the front of a Jewish store, and police had to get in between them and the signs of the kidnapped Israelis they wanted to rip down that were on a pole in front of the store. There was also the Jewish guy who went undercover at one of the anti-Israel rallies in New York City and discovered a lot of the hate against Jews when he interviewed attendees.
But a woman in Indianapolis allegedly managed to put a new spin on an old hate.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) says that Ruba Almaghtheh confessed to purposely backing her car into the Israelite School of Universal and Practical Knowledge while there were people inside the building. The IMPD termed her a “terrorist.” There were no reports of any injuries.
Police said she told them that she was offended by the Hebrew Israelite symbol on the building and planned to attack it after watching coverage of the Israel-Hamas war. She thought it was an “Israel school.”
IMPD said she referred to “her people back in Palestine” and told officers, “Yes. I did it on purpose.”
However, the Anti-Defamation League defines the Israelite School of Universal and Practical Knowledge as an “extreme and antisemitic” sect of the Black Hebrew Israelites.
Whoops, I guess she’s not exactly the sharpest “terrorist.” That’s some delicious irony right there.
Not only that, but Almaghtheh also allegedly admitted to committing a “hate crime” on her one phone call to her family. Again, not exactly a smart move. But then, when you’re motivated by hate to attack other people, you’re already working with a deficit on many levels.
A local Jewish group noted the irony but also the continuing danger that people face when there are attitudes like this out there.
Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis officials wrote in a press release. “Although a Jewish facility was not targeted, solely due to ironic misidentification, this is yet another reminder to maintain security protocols, remain vigilant of suspicious activity and to (report promptly) to the appropriate authorities.”
Almaghtheh is facing a preliminary charge of criminal recklessness.
I’m willing to bet there will likely be other charges coming as they evaluate the facts further in the case.
