And it’s not just that. Joe’s own ‘climate plan’ does have the GND in it. So either he’s lying in an attempt to conceal his econuttery, or he’s passed the point he can’t even remember the policies he’s running on.

Biden Interrupts Republican Voter, Tries To Rebut Her Question Before She Finishes It

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden interrupted a Republican voter trying to ask a question during his CNN town hall Thursday.

Biden started to answer, trying to dispute one of the things she had said before she finished laying our her question……………

According to Biden’s campaign website, Ballay was correct about his climate plan embracing the Green New Deal.

“Biden believes the Green New Deal is a crucial framework for meeting the climate challenges we face. It powerfully captures two basic truths, which are at the core of his plan: (1) the United States urgently needs to embrace greater ambition on an epic scale to meet the scope of this challenge, and (2) our environment and our economy are completely and totally connected,” his website states.

In the day of being able to instantly pull up contradictory evidence, lying through your teeth, apparently believing people are stupid enough to swallow the lie, is in itself stupid. Of course, with Joe, he may simply be going off script……again.

Proclamation on National POW/MIA Recognition Day, 2020

Throughout our Nation’s history, America’s sons and daughters have heroically safeguarded our precious freedoms and defended the cause of liberty both at home and abroad.  On National POW/MIA Recognition Day, we remember the more than 500,000 prisoners of war who have endured incredible suffering and brutality under conditions of extraordinary privation, and the tens of thousands of our patriots who are still missing in action.  Although our Nation will never be able to fully repay our debt to those who have given so much on our behalf, we commemorate their bravery and recommit to working for their long-suffering families who deserve answers and solace for their missing loved ones.

Today, I join a grateful Nation in honoring those POWs who faithfully served through extreme hardship and unimaginable physical and emotional trauma.  Their lives and resilience reflect the best of the American Spirit, and their immeasurable sacrifices have ensured the blessings of freedom for future generations.  On this day, we also reaffirm our unceasing global efforts to obtain the fullest possible accounting of our MIA personnel.  The search, recovery, and repatriation of MIA remains help bring closure to families bearing the burden of the unresolved fate of their loved ones.  That is why in 2018, I worked to secure the historic repatriation of remains from North Korea, and why we are continually working to bring more home from around the world.  My Administration will never waver in fulfilling our country’s obligation to leave no service member behind.

This year, as we commemorate the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II and reflect upon both the 70th anniversary of the start of the Korean War and the 45th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, we pause to recognize the men and women who were held as POWs or deemed MIA in these conflicts against repressive ideologies.  These service members and civilians, many from the Greatest Generation, deserve a special place of honor in the hearts of all Americans because of their selfless devotion, unflinching courage, and unsurpassed dedication to our cherished American values.

On September 18, 2020, our Nation’s citizens will look to the iconic black and white flag as a powerful reminder of the service of America’s POWs and service members who have gone MIA.  This flag, especially when flying high above our military installations abroad, conveys the powerful message of American devotion to the cause of human liberty and our commitment to never forget the brave Americans lost defending that liberty.  On this National POW/MIA Recognition Day, our Nation takes a special moment to pay tribute to those who endured the horrors of enemy captivity and those lost in service to our country.  Our Nation will continue to be resolute in our relentless pursuit of those remains of service members who have yet to return home from war and our steadfast promise to their families that their loved ones will never be forgotten.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim September 18, 2020, as National POW/MIA Recognition Day.  Together with the people of the United States, I salute all American POWs who, in the presence of great dangers and uncertainties, valiantly honored their duty to this great country.  Let this day also serve as a reminder for our Nation to strengthen our resolve to account for those who are still missing and provide their families long-sought answers.  I call upon Federal, State, and local government officials and private organizations to observe this day with appropriate ceremonies and activities.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this seventeenth day of September, in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-fifth.

DONALD J. TRUMP

BLUF:
American gun owners will mobilize from the grassroots and assert themselves politically to preserve their Second Amendment rights. Whether establishment conservatives will jump on this movement remains to be seen. The real right, on the other hand, should have zero qualms about getting involved to fully protect and restore the Second Amendment.

Second Amendment Gains Won by the Grassroots Right

It seems that on many fronts, the American establishment right has been incapable of halting the advance of the left. There is one bright spot, however: more Americans are resisting encroachments against their right to self-defense by exercising their Second Amendment rights.

Gun stores have had 10.3 million firearms sales so far this year, according to a survey from the National Shooting Sports Foundation—a record for the period observed. Sales have surged by 95 percent when compared with the same timeframe in 2019. Continue reading “”

Man Who Campaigns For Joe Biden Invited to CNN Town Hall – Then Cries as He Asks Biden Softball Question About Healthcare Workers

Anderson Cooper began by asking Joe Biden a softball question about Trump’s Coronavirus response.

Anderson Cooper then called on a questioner who just happened to be a Democrat from Dunmore, Pennsylvania the same town Biden’s dad is from — what a coincidence!

They should be careful if they really want to ‘go there’. They just may walk into something that does more than bite back.

Democrats Promise to Be Sore (and Violent) Losers
They know that the media, corporations, schools, and even churches will cheer them on.

Writing in The Atlantic recently, the sober-minded commentator Shadi Hamid says, “I struggle to imagine how, beyond utter shock, millions of Democrats will process a Trump victory.” For Democrats, having failed to cope with the 2016 election, and believing the polls that show a solid Joe Biden lead, another shock Trump win would “provoke mass disillusion with electoral politics as a means of change — at a time when disillusion is already dangerously high.” And it would lead decent folks astray. They would seek remedies “outside the political process, including through nonpeaceful means,” though, “not necessarily out of hope but out of despair.”

Don’t notice the gleam in the arsonist’s eye, he’s really just heartbroken over the fate of the Biden-Harris ticket!

Given Hamid’s premises, why bother even having the election? Why not find a peaceful but extralegal procedure to make Joe Biden president right this second? We could relieve the whole nation of the suspense of what Democrats will do if once again they’ve nominated someone who can’t beat one of the most broadly unpopular political figures of modern times.

For what it’s worth, like Hamid, I’m worried about post-election violence. But my view of the causes is slightly different. Hamid says, “Losers of elections need to believe that they can win the next time around. Otherwise their incentives to play the spoiler increase.” Okay, true enough.

He also says that “the anxiety gripping the two parties is asymmetric.” Joe Biden is a moderate Democrat, he says, and therefore theoretically more acceptable to Republicans, whereas Donald Trump “represents the nativist wing of an already nativist Republican Party.” His conclusion: Biden should win for reasons of civic peace.

Now leave aside the claims of leftists, including Obama, that Joe Biden has become much more progressive in his current campaign. And let’s leave aside the question of whether Donald Trump is actually a moderate or liberal Republican on issues such as federal welfare spending. Hamid fails in his analysis because he is unwilling or unable to see things from the other side. Maybe it’s time to practice empathy.

What if the anxiety gripping the parties was asymmetric in the other direction? Conservatives don’t see politics as just a matter of elective office, but of power generally. And they notice that the major corporations, Hollywood and pop culture, academia, what’s left of mainstream media, most local institutions, the leadership class of their own movements through the years, and even their own churches are substantially to their left politically. They also notice that progressives notch major political and cultural wins even from conservative elites, and even following conservative victories.

Hamid might have noticed that conservative activism was born over “despair” of the sort he describes. It was born of the observation that even winning elections wasn’t enough to secure political victories. Instead of the Electoral College or the Senate, conservatives had to face the more inscrutable Supreme Court, which for years overturned conservative legislation and enacted progressive victories that had no chance of receiving a democratic mandate. Conservatives’ response was to double down on electoral strategies, making an explicit case that they needed to win elections to reform the judiciary. Why didn’t conservatives simply pout and threaten to abandon the democratic process altogether, as Hamid admits liberals are wont to do?

Perhaps because conservatives then, as now, knew on which side of the divide the institutional and oligarchic power landed. Progressives feel secure in making all but open threats of violence and revolution because they know that the heads of domestic security agencies are on their side, they know that the most powerful voices in media and academia are at the ready to craft apologies for their violence. And they know that their reputations will be restored or even burnished after committing violence on behalf of their causes.

The modern American conservative movement was a populist and democratic movement because it had to be. The modern Left knows where its power lies as well — with the already powerful.

Trump Announces Executive Order Establishing ‘1776 Commission’ To Combat ‘1619 Project’

President Donald Trump announced on Thursday he would sign a new executive order establishing the “1776 Commission” to promote patriotic education. The commission will counter the revisionist history peddled by leftist efforts like the New York Times’ 1619 Project, which imposes false narratives on America’s students.

“The narratives about America being pushed by the far left and being chanted in the streets bear a striking resemblance to the anti-American propaganda of our adversaries,” Trump said in remarks during the White House Conference on American History at the National Archives. He further described the 1619 Project—a collection of essays that cast America as an irredeemably racist empire built solely to oppress minorities—as “ideological poison.”

Earlier this year, China successfully weaponized American wokeness to drive divisions deeper in the U.S., seeking to evade responsibility for the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak by complaining that any term linking the virus to its Chinese origins was racist. Woke reporters soon complied with Beijing’s orders and began badgering the president repeatedly on his use of terms consistent with the naming of new diseases.

“Critical race theory, the 1619 Project, and the crusade against American history is toxic propaganda,” Trump said, “that if not removed, will dissolve the civic bonds that tie us together. It will destroy our country.” Continue reading “”

Home invasion suspect shot in Flower Mound

A home invasion suspect is in critical condition after being shot by a Flower Mound homeowner on Sunday afternoon.

Flower Mound police responded to a shooting call at approximately 2:22 p.m. Sunday in the 5400 block of Briar Lane.

During the 911 call, the homeowner stated he had shot at an unknown male and female, who had allegedly broken into his house through the back door. After the gunshot, both individuals fled the location in a vehicle.

Upon arrival, police were able to locate the vehicle a short distance away, where it was determined the male suspect had been shot one time in the chest.

The 29-year-old male suspect was transported to Medical Center Denton where he was immediately taken into surgery. He has since been moved into ICU and is in critical condition.

The 30-year-old female suspect was taken to the Police Department for questioning, and was later placed in custody for an unrelated parole violation warrant.

At the scene, Flower Mound detectives were able to determine the male had forced entry and confronted the homeowner. The homeowner told the suspect to leave several times and warned him, without success. Police said the homeowner felt threatened as the suspect kept moving toward him, which is when he fired one shot at the suspect.

Police are questioning the female suspect, but as of Sunday night have not determined a motive.

No charges are expected to be filed on the homeowner as a result of the incident, police said.

Education Department opens investigation into Princeton University after president deems racism ’embedded’ in the school

The Department of Education has informed Princeton University that it is under investigation following the school president’s declaration that racism was “embedded” in the institution.

President Christopher Eisgruber published an open letter earlier this month claiming that “racism and the damage it does to people of color persist at Princeton” and that “racist assumptions” are “embedded in structures of the University itself.”

According to a letter the Department of Education sent to Princeton that was obtained by the Washington Examiner, such an admission from Eisgruber raises concerns that Princeton has been receiving tens of millions of dollars of federal funds in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which declares that “no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.”

Eisgruber’s letter branding the 274-year-old university racist came after a summer of unrest rife with race riots and an open letter from hundreds of Princeton faculty members who wrote, “Anti-Black racism has a visible bearing upon Princeton’s campus makeup.” The admission was followed by dozens of “anti-racist” policy change demands. Among them were calls for select faculty race quotas and to “reconsider” the use of standardized testing for admissions. Continue reading “”

Everyone is puzzled by this. I am not puzzled by this. It is simplicity itself:

Snohomish County looking to expand no-shooting zones after stray bullet nearly hits child

After a stray bullet nearly hit a 4-year-old girl in Monroe, Snohomish County Councilmember Sam Low has introduced an emergency ordinance that would expand the no-shooting zone around the city. Now, the council wants to hear from the public. Low joined the Jason Rantz Show on KTTH to discuss.

“This is a growing area of Monroe up on the hill. There’s been about 800 homes added in the last several years in this area that used to be just kind of rolling hills and nothing else there. All of a sudden, we have all this development there, and over the last few years we’ve had several shooting incidents. The last two over the last year and a half have been bullets that have come from unincorporated county into the city and hitting residences in the city,” he said.

It seems that the shootings haven’t been nefarious in nature but are accidental, often occurring around the holidays from stray bullets. Continue reading “”

Five Years After Disappearance, St. Louis Park Man Charged With Joining ISIS

A St. Louis Park Minneapolis man, who abandoned his family while vacationing in Morocco, has been charged by federal authorities five years later with joining an ISIS battalion trained to carry out suicide attacks in Europe.

Abdelhamid Al-Madioum, 23, was indicted in U.S. District Court with providing material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization.

Al-Madioum, who lost much of one arm from an apparent air assault in Iraq, was in court in Minneapolis on Wednesday after his overseas capture by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the major fighting force against ISIS, who then handed him over to the FBI. Continue reading “”

18-year-old tries to rob taxi driver, shot with his own gun

Gresham, Oregon…………

An 18-year-old is accused of trying to rob a taxi driver and getting shot with his own gun during a struggle, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called out at about 12:20 a.m. Tuesday morning on reports of a robbery near the intersection of SW 188th Court and SW Farmington Road. The cab driver told deputies that he picked up 18-year-old Josiah Johnson in Gresham. When Johnson asked to go to the Aloha area, the driver asked for partial payment up front or collateral because of the long drive.

Deputies said Johnson gave the driver his cell phone, and then they drove to a home near the intersection of SW 188th Court and SW Farmington Road. When they arrived, the driver said Johnson tried to pay with a fake $100 bill, which he immediately recognized was fraudulent. That’s when deputies said Johnson pulled a gun out and pointed it at the back of the cab driver’s head and started yelling.

According to deputies, the driver saw an opportunity to grab the gun from Johnson, so he did. A struggle over the gun ensued, and it went off – hitting Johnson. Both Johnson and the cab driver got out of the car, where the fight continued. Deputies said the cab driver was able to get the gun away from Johnson, throw it away from both of them, and yell for help.

Neighbors heard the commotion, helped the cab driver hold Johnson down, and called 911. Deputies arrived shortly after. Johnson was arrested at the scene and taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released for his injuries, according to deputies.

Johnson was later booked into the Washington County jail on:

  • Robbery in the first degree
  • Assault in the fourth degree
  • Menacing
  • Unlawful use of a weapon
  • Criminal possession of a forged instrument in the first degree
  • Possession of a controlled substance – schedule IV

The “Escalator to Extinction” Myth

In Life on the Mississippi Mark Twain wrote, “There is something fascinating about science. One gets such wholesale returns of conjecture out of such a trifling investment of fact.” Unfortunately, conjecture based on limited facts has produced “research” trumpeting catastrophic fears of extinction. The “escalator to extinction” theory argues organisms must migrate to higher elevations where a cooler altitude will offset global warming temperatures. But there is scant evidence that is happening.

For example, in 1985 researchers spent 33 days surveying the wondrous bird diversity along a narrow ascending 5-mile trail in southern Peru. They recorded an amazing 455 unique species. In 2017 they repeated the survey, but for only 22 days. Still they observed 422 species consisting of 52 additional species never observed in 1985, but they also failed to detect 71 species that had been documented in 1985. Clearly, more extensive surveys are needed to accurately detect all species and determine their abundance. Nonetheless, because 8 ridgetop species (i.e. Crested Quetzal) that were previously observed only at the highest elevations but were not detected in 2017, researchers conjectured the “escalator to extinction” eliminated those 8 species. Additionally, they asserted similar local extinctions must be happening along ridgetops all across the earth’s tropical mountains.

Modeled temperatures had risen by 0.8°F between the two surveys, so they concluded those missing 8 species were extirpated by global warming because birds already at the ridgetop could no longer flee upwards to cooler temperatures.  For most people, the idea that a 0.8°F rise in ridgetop temperatures could be deadly greatly strains the imagination. Moreover researchers in nearby regions of Manu National Park, found the alleged “extirpated species” thriving at lower elevations where temperatures are 3-5 °F warmer than their ridgetop. Falsely asserting most Peruvian birds are “highly sedentary” and don’t migrate, the scientists argued it was unlikely they missed any birds during their 10 days on the ridgetop due to migration. Thus, the birds must be locally extinct.  Not having the critical eye of a Mark Twain, mass media journalists – BBCthe Atlantic, and Yale Environment 360 – promoted those extinction fears. Regretfully only good investigative journalism has become extinct.

It is well documented that about 24% of Peru’s birds are “elevational migrants”. Elevational migrants are typically on the move between different elevations during August and September, the same months of the 1985 and 2017 surveys. The high chance of not observing randomly migrating species prudently explains why their short-term surveys each missed detecting 12% and 16% of the region’s species. And there’s good news to counter their extinction conclusions. The International Union for the Conservation of Nature determined those “extinct” 8 species are relatively abundant elsewhere and categorized as species of Least Concern.

global warming explanation only obscures complex movements within ecosystems elsewhere. Researchers comparing early 20th century bird surveys in California’s mountains found as many species were moving downslope as species “fleeing” upslope. Furthermore, the same species moved differently in different regions. But fearmongering media journalists don’t find such facts newsworthy.

The theory that global warming relentlessly pushes species up mountain slopes to their eventual extinction, has been preached by climate scientists like James Hansen to add urgency to his catastrophic theories.  Unfortunately, such theories have constrained the objectivity of several researchers to the point they manipulated observations to fit the theory.

For example, pika are rabbit-like creatures that live in rockslides of western America’s mountains. By comparing the elevations of territories documented in the early 1900s to their current elevation Dr. Beever argued global warming was causing a “five-fold increase in the rate of local extinctions.” However, of the 25 pika territories surveyed, 10 were now inhabiting lower and warmer elevations. To preserve a scary theory, Beever eliminated those observations from his calculations, guaranteeing a statistical upslope retreat. But recent US Forest Service surveys also found 19% of the currently known pika populations are at lower elevations than documented during the cooler 1900s, as well as a few thriving pika territories that Dr. Beever had deemed locally extinct.

Dr. Camille Parmesan’s 1994 Edith’s Checkerspot butterfly study made her an icon for climate change catastrophe. Featured on the Union of Concerned Scientists’ website Parmesan stated,  “The latest research shows clearly that we face the threat of mass extinctions in coming years,” For promoting global warming catastrophe, she earned an invitation to speak at the Clinton White House and to join the IPCC. I tried to replicate her study, but she refused to supply the necessary data and she never published a methods section. However,  it was privately admitted the Checkerspot butterfly had been increasing through the 2000s and many butterfly colonies she designated extinct, were now thriving. But such good news was never published. What is truly worrisome is all these misleading  claims have duped the public into a hysteria regards climate “extinctions”.

Rules for thee, But Not For MEE!!!
I will make this as clear as I can. Restrictions on weapons should go the other way, not from gubbermint to the people. The 2nd amendment is a restriction on gubbermint, not a ceding of power from the people.

VP hopeful Kamala Harris- who says she supports defunding police – is seen in Miami being protected by dozens of cops as well as a Secret Service agent carrying an assault rifle, a weapon she’s vowed to ban

In the photos exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com, the VP hopeful is seen being protected by the same assault weapon that she promised to ban within the first 100 days of her term

Also seen with Harris was her husband Doug Emhoff who emerged behind her wearing a white mask and being escorted by security.

Harris made the vow in April 2019 during a CNN town hall, where she said, ‘Upon being elected, I will give the United States Congress 100 days to get their act together and have the Courage to pass reasonable gun safety laws. And if they fail to do it, then I will take executive action.’

At the time, Harris said that if people ‘want to go hunting, that’s fine’ but said she would advocate for new gun safety laws including requiring universal background checks…………

I skimmed through the full length vid so you won’t have to. But if you do, you’ll notice that there is not one round of applause as he enters the filled to capacity (/sarc) basketball court from the whole six -6- attendees (there’s more staff, Secret Service and reporters/photogs there than participants), or when it’s over and he starts to walk out. Not-one-hand-clap. (.)
It’s like they can’t even stage a convincing fraud.

Joe Biden Pitches ‘Harris-Biden Administration’ to Florida Veterans

Former Vice President Joe Biden pitched U.S. military veterans on the notion of a “Harris-Biden administration” on Tuesday afternoon during a campaign swing through Florida.

Biden, who has aroused concerns over his fitness for the presidency in recent weeks, told reporters in Tampa that a White House helmed by himself and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) would work to expand opportunities not only for veterans, but military families as well.

“It’s so much harder for military spouses to find good jobs and build their careers,” the Democrat nominee said. “We have to change that and we’re working on it… for example making it easier to carry your professional credentials with you, from one state to another, when your spouse moves.

“The Harris-Biden administration will relaunch that effort and make it easier for military spouses and veterans meaningful careers, to ensure teachers know how to support military children in the classroom, and to improve support for caregivers and survivors so much more than we do now,” the former vice president added.

It is unclear if Biden misspoke or was having technical issues, as his campaign has occasionally resorted to using teleprompters for public events.

Such language has led some, most notably on the right, to suggest the Biden campaign is deliberately pitching Harris as the dominant player on the Democrat ticket.

Biden himself has indulged such speculation by asserting that the major reason he picked Harris is because she is “ready to lead on day one.”

The Biden campaign did not return requests for comment on this story.
